Dev Patnaik has a great message. I had heard him in person and was eager to read the book which I purchased at the event. To save time I downloaded the book to listen to. The reader made it sound like a children's story not a serious set of ideas. I was mortified by how bad it was. It was so painful I quit listening and read the book.

Fantastic book with a lot of good insights into the world of empathy in business
It presents very good points on empathy and it's impact on people and companies.

Which scene was your favorite?
The part where a lady plays a role of a wheelchair handicapped to get to feel the experience.
I believe in empathy and its role in building organizations. Actually, empathy is the real driver for the success of families, organizations and countries for that sake!
The book is surely entertaining, but the narrator makes it boring! I tend to drift away because of the low tone consistent voice.
I can surely relate to the content and do advise especially hard working managers that sometimes don't seem to understand where is the problem to read it. this is the missing link

In a world where most companies now compete on a global scale, the ability to exercise compassion and care for customers, coworkers and competitors alike distinguishes a business. "Wired to Care" provides concrete suggestions and perspectives, in addition to valuable case studies. I purchased this book for our company's senior managers to read and we immediately added it to the company library so all coworkers could benefit from the material. Any small improvement in the landscape of human compassion is a giant leap forward for all human beings.
