Summary

Learn from the master of sales and persuasion. Jordan Belfort - immortalised by Leonardo DiCaprio in the hit movie The Wolf of Wall Street - at last reveals how to use the Straight Line System, the step-by-step sales and persuasion system proven to turn anyone into a sales-closing, money-earning rock star. The proven technique for generating wealth which turned Wall Street upside down.

For the first time ever, Jordan Belfort opens his playbook and gives listeners access to his exclusive step-by-step system - the same system he used to create massive wealth for himself, his clients, and his sales teams. Until now this revolutionary program was only available through Jordan's $1,997 online training. Now, in Way of the Wolf, Belfort is ready to unleash the power of persuasion to a whole new generation of listeners, revealing how anyone can bounce back from devastating setbacks, master the art of persuasion and build wealth.

Every technique, every strategy and every tip has been tested and proven to work in real-life situations. Written in his own inimitable voice, Way of the Wolf cracks the code on how to persuade anyone to do anything and coaches listeners, regardless of age, education or skill level, to be a master sales person, negotiator, closer, entrepreneur or speaker.

A good example of the use of NLP in business

Good but not very original. I preferred his other books, which had some great writing and storytelling. This was a bit too obvious and repetitive.

loaded with vital information

I recommend this book to every aspiring entrepreneur out there. At the very least, you will learn when you're being pitched to and how to react. At the most, you will learn how to sell effectively in any situation. I will need to listen a few times to fully digest all of this, but I already feel more confident.

good book, well contextualised. greatly narrated by Jordan himself. some of it is a bit too specific to hard selling but there are helpful insights for everyone

Give it a go

You may not like the author based on the film but he has devised a Sales system that works and is deceptively simple. Give it a go.

Entertaining and light listening

Where does Way of the Wolf rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It has kept me engrossed from the beginning to the end and is quite interesting about different sales tactics. it's a high-ranker as I've managed to get through it in a week!

What did you like best about this story?

I like the anecdotes and small references back to the wolf on wall street film, however note that this is a book to develop sales skills.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Personal enjoyable scenes include Jordan trying to teach other sales people about his method, and how clueless they were.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to, however it is very long!

Very good strategy...with a pinch of salt

Really well told and some great ideas shared. The enthusiasm is electric. Whilst it maybe slightly more applicable to phone sales, and slightly focused on financial services, it is very easy to tailor the ideas to your own industry.

Basically, an updated version of "Straight Line Selling".

Fantastic ! Thought you have to watch a couple of his videos online and visualize him putting his full emotions into this audio book.
