great learning lessons

"A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. You earn reputation by trying to do hard things well."Simply love this simple yet bold statement especially when I'm the founder of a start up with 100 employees under my payroll.

Honestly i wasn't sure this will be my first book from Amazon but i'm sold! even bought this Audio book to go along.

regrettably this could be a short read but it's well worth every penny of mine but I stayed up on my Saturday night away from work for reading this one and it was totally worth it.

The book chronicles the events leading to the formation of Amazon.com, it's efforts to become an everything store and its eventual success into becoming a great e-commerce company. Like any great story, Bezos has had lots of ups and downs hence lots of life and business lessons that can be learned from this book itself.

If you're an Amazon customer, you should definitely take the time to read this or listen to the Audio book.

informative and summarized!!!!

I am recently into biographies on Henry Ford, Warren buffer John D. Rockefeller and Steve Jobs, Elon musk. I did note in reading these books all of them had things in common such as total focus on their goal, not afraid to fail, ruthless with competitors and workers as well as problems with dealing with people.

I have found too many companies planning does not go past the next quarter. I can attest to the fact this company, Amazon is superbly customer oriented.

I just finished this book and wow, I enjoy business histories and the total quick summary by Jamie.

At halfway of book, it disucss about Amazon's vigorous customer advocacy. Amazon has branched into so many areas like Amazon Web Services as a case studies. now, seriously, this is some good stuff!!

Jamie has done a great job on this book and the speed and skill of the times and the application of the electronic world around us really comes into focus. I now understand the vast impact of many of these businesses and especially Amazon.

If you want to understand how Jeff Bezos led to this today success, this is the book to read.

some great lessons and insights along the way

Great book. High quality and most importantly, informational summarized.

My objective was to glean some sense of this man and apply it to my life and work. To that end, the book provided a summary-level treatment of his business methods and provides an ongoing trickle of his widely famed fortune.

This book provided a seemingly unbiased reflection of Amazon's creation by Bezos, his rise to greatness, and likely exponential growth.

This book will help understand just how much Amazon cares about doing right just for the the customer. Recommended for everyone!

let's be honest, I loved this book, but to be fair I'm very interested in biographies of successful American businessmen, innovators, visionary, so I'm clearly biased.

To wrap up, Bezos had made a great perspective on the evolution of retail through the lens of a leading innovator and his relentless, now a iconic founder and he definitely change the way we shop.

If you are fascinated by key takeaway on Jeff Bezos and his history in the making then this one is a must read!

outstanding summary

From this success story, the author was able to share Jeff Bezos biography, an American entrepreneur and e-commerce pioneer, the creator of online store Amazon.com. He is one of the most successful technology tycoons and investors in the world currently.

just curious about an inside look at how amazon works and its success then this is a great place to start off. Of all the books I've read on amazon this one seems the most useful and insightful. By listening this book you can gain knowledge that will allow you to apply lessons learned to your own business and life.

The Think like Jeff Bezos was a smooth and interesting read, and I could relate to the principles and examples presented throughout the book.

I would recommend Think like Jeff Bezos to business leaders and aspiring entrepreneur

Rare gift and insight of Bezos success

A snap accounts of a fascinating man with copious amounts of drive, vision and exceptional achievements.

fascinating great read. Was super helpful in getting a better understanding in the rationale behind the Amazon headmen and his learning lessons which we can closely relate or adapt to especially in life and business.

It is a physically short Audiobook but the contents have been extraordinarily helpful.

Because of this purchase, it has allowed me to think back on my career thus far and see how I have personally and sub-consciously had used these principles in my own life.

Bezos is indeed changing the world and totally agree with the author that he's making this e commerce business from yesterday for tomorrow and had evolved to a mammoth.

it's a rare gift of knowledge that we all need for leaders irregardless whether you're young or seasoned leaders or professional. no regret in buying

informative & sumaarised

almost everything in my house is bought from Amazon, or at least 70% of it.

this seems to me to be a well-researched book or at least in my honest opinion, a quick summary of Bezos lessons we can take away from him over his rise of success through this e-commerce business in Amazon.

i agree with the writer that we cannot expect businessmen to take care of their employees paternalistically, just because they believe it to be morally right so that is why we have governments and unions, which will force good behavior on the powerful.

Definitely worth a read, especially if you're addicted to this company like me.

Only good part of the book was in the beginning.

I can't recommend this bool for anyone. Lot's of high level ideas what Jeff could have learned, buy no real insight. Also narrative seemed a bit biased at the times.

Don’t waste your time

This is a pretty bad book. I spent 3 bucks on this and I kinda want it back. Could’ve bought a roll of paper towel or something. The writing is amateurish and lacks any type of research. There’s nothing here that’s not in google’s top results for Bezos. Feels like the author grabbed 20 or so Bezos quotes and banged out these “lessons” over a weekend. It’s a stretch to relate them to Bezos, it’s more like the author’s opinions on how to run a company with examples from Amazon. The opinions are nothing insightful either, just general business tips you can find in a “Top n..” blog post.

The reading is robotic, but I can’t blame the narrator too much, the writing lacks fluidity. The subject is often repeated: “Jeff Bezos thinks this. Jeff Bezos thinks that. Jeff Bezos does that and this and that. Bezos...💀”. So narrator gets an extra star
