    "inter-personal skills guide"
What made the experience of listening to Skill with People the most enjoyable?

The short behaviour management guide is both practical and an easy listen. I listened to it twice in a row, while out for an early walk. Very enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

Not so much storybook. This is more of a tool box of tips to help you develop interpersonal skills in the workplace and at home.

What does Pat Reilly bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Pat Reilly has the voice of a friendly mentor. Great delivery and an enjoyable listen.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I plan to listen to this book on a regular basis just to remind myself of how to get more from life.

    "Simple but it works!"

This is a simple but very effective book. I recommend it to people wanting to improve their communications in any field. Sure there are more things and strategies to try but this is a good foundation to start with.

"Really good review tool for other books..."

I like Les Giblin very much. He says the same thing that Dale Carnegie says in How to Win Friends and Influence People in Les' book How to Have Confidence and Power in Dealing with people. Although, I think Les gets more to the point with less storytelling. Both mentioned books are equally worth reading. Truth be told... I enjoyed Les' book more.

This book, Skill with People, is a good review of those previously mentioned books without having to reread either. I'm not sure this book stands on it's own very well. Had I not read the others first, this book would have left me wanting more. As it stands, I feel like this book is a really good and quick review tool, but nothing more. The narrator was good as well.

"One of the Best books about dealing with others"
If you could sum up Skill with People in three words, what would they be?

What other book might you compare Skill with People to and why?

Which character – as performed by Pat Reilly – was your favorite?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

This book is a tutorial outline of the various skills one should master if he or she wants to interact skillfully with others. It is brief and to the point, just the way I like it. I liked it all, and have read or listened to it over two dozen times. It works.

    Any additional comments?

Highly recommended if you wish to be better at relationships with others. I rated the story a 4 because it is more of an instructional text than a story.
