Excellent!
Fantastic book! I really enjoyed the practical tips and advice in this book. Having recently moved into a senior leadership role, this contained some excellent ideas to help in my day to day role and was easy to apply practically. While here are one or two aspects that I slightly disagreed with, the overall content of this book was superb and I have recommended it to several friends. Will listen to it again!

Wish I’d read this a decade ago
Great book. Listened to it on my way to work every day and it framed my mind to start the day. So relatable as a female in a male-dominated working environment with honest advice. The female mentor I never had. I’ve been recommending it to everyone.

New insights that can really make a difference
I thought that I was aware of all the 'girl-mistakes' that I was making and therefore I was a bit sceptical when a friend recommend this book to me. Reading it made me realize that I am also one of the recovering nice girls at work and at home. There are many practical examples that made me laugh either reconginzing myself, or other women and men at my office. Work hard and hope to get recognized, avoid negotiations, try to make mircales happen, use only your first name, never take the seat at the table - the list of the nice girls mistakes that I do myself or see others do at work just goes on. Additional to describing the mistakes Lois P. Frankel also gives actionalbe advice for each case. Apart from great content, I enjoyed the audio version. The book is narrated by the author herself, which is always nice and overall is a very pleasant listen.

Exactly what I needed to hear
As a career woman facing with a transition to a new job and having made mistakes along the way, this book offers the tools I need to achieve my goals.
If I ever have a daughter, I'll make sure to pass on the lessons I learned from dr Lois Frankel.

Pursuit of perfect woman in the workplace.
This book makes me wonder if the good is the evil and the evil is good. Generally good advices, some dont understand.

Quite old fashioned in a few respects
There’s some useful hard truths in this book about what people perceive, but I do worry it perpetuates the belief women need to change how they behave and appear rather than truly educating everyone to value difference in a modern, inclusive way. Definitely one to pick carefully which things you take forward.
