Not a book, but a pamphlet.
This should not be called a book.
The content is barely enough for a pamphlet

A six sigma advertisement
No detail on value stream mapping as a process is or exercise. If you remove the words six sigma it would be half the length

Solid overview
This, in general, is a very well written book. This was a very good book on understanding the importance of modeling and communicating clearly to those in the organization. It also gives a solid understanding of value stream mapping and surrounding processes.

this book is a good place to start
It is definitely one of those books that everyone doing this work will want to own. It fills the gap that still existed for those of us who are in the service industry!Useful as an introduction to VSM mainly focused on service industries not for experienced people.

Wonderful book! This kept my interest from beginning to end. I would recommend the book to people who need to understand the basics of Lean but have not had a chance or resources to take an in depth course yet.
