Publisher's Summary

It is popularly supposed that a greater prosperity for individuals or nations can only come through a political and social reconstruction. This cannot be true apart from the practice of the moral virtues in the individuals that comprise a nation. Better laws and social conditions will always follow a higher realization of morality among the individuals of a community, but no legal enactment can give prosperity to, nay it cannot prevent the ruin of, a man or a nation that has become lax and decadent in the pursuit and practice of virtue. The moral virtues are the foundation and support of prosperity as they are the soul of greatness. They endure forever, and all the works of man which endure are built upon them. Without them there is neither strength, stability, nor substantial reality, but only ephemeral dreams. To find moral principles is to have found prosperity, greatness, truth, and is therefore to be strong, valiant, joyful and free.-James Allen Bryngoleu, Ilfracombe, England

    "Sean Pratt rules!"

The narrorater Sean Pratt does, in my opinion, the best job with James Allen's work. Would love to see him perform all of Allen's books.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

110% I cannot put into words the unparalleled effect this Author has had on my life. I've read numerous books by him. "As A Man Thinketh", "The Eight Pillars of Prosperity", "The Way to Peace" EACH AND EVERY SINGLE book has propelled me forward in my life some way. I truly believe God sends me books to reinforce my thoughts into actions, James Allen is the writer God chooses to speak to me through. I'm glad.

    "The Power of Right Thought"

James Allen is one of the main Pillar of the self help movement, Read or listen to his works and you will not have to read any other spin offs. The book is full of basic truth and deep understanding of prosperity. All under the same basic principle of his works that "a man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts."

    "Unexpectably avarage."

Have a good idea of how to manage your work life/etic, but the ideas is more suitable for beginners in the self-improvment/creating own business area.
I personaly dont liked that most of ideas was really obvious, but, as I said, it may help some folks that are absolutely begginers in that area.
