If you are not familiar with blockchain’s potential uses, then this book is a light introduction to the possibilities culminating in a dose of reality at the end. It gave me the foundation to comfortably dig into the more technical aspect of this new technology. It generates real-time data to handle demand and supply, and enable smart, efficient and trusted ways of transacting among participating peers across the manufacturing value chain. Bitcoin is the perfect currency for the dealing of illegal drugs and for gambling, and it will be a while before the mainstream catches on.

good start book for blockchain
The book takes a methodical and structured approach which helped me build understanding on the topic step-by-step. The new untangled process provides multiple choices, cost savings and instantaneous availability of an asset or a service to the participating stakeholders. It is an enjoyable and easy reading although a comprehensive exposure to bitcoin and blockchains. This book gives a great explanation as to how bitcoin works, which is something that is limited to other methods of learning about bitcoin. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand bitcoin technology.

easy to understand
The book is clear and easy to understand for the people not too familiar with blockchain. If you don’t know much about blockchain, you can safely listen to this book as a primer. The most important thing to appreciate about the blockchain is that it's designed to be entirely open source so that no one party or group can ever come to dominate it, and thus warp the blockchain to serve its interests. The book gave me enough of a foundation so that I can better understand blockchain strategy discussions at work

simple but full of explanation
The book is focused in explain the blockchain concepts, why they are important, why they are growing in popularity. The potential for blockchain to transform business spans industries and applications. It helps us clearly understand the theme, concisely describing the technology in a logical way, clearly presenting the concepts, and on top of that how everything fits together. Also, explains the new technology can be found online in various places, and you still need the understanding of Bitcoin that the rest of the book provides. I would suggest to those interested in understanding the basics of blockchains and bitcoin.
