About this listen

A wise man once said that as one increased their wealth, so, too, would they increase their problems. Well, it was something like that.

Alex - a.k.a. Jack Alltrades - just wanted to play a game and make some money for himself and his family. After a string of incredible luck and a few wise decisions, he finds himself responsible for an entire company based in the game. It's not all rainbows and gold coins, though. Real life threats, angry NPC merchants, and shady deals with the elves and dwarves are giving Jack a massive headache.

Can he keep All Trades, Inc. out of the red? Will his past catch up to him, or can he buy his way into a new life? And how many golems does it take to screw in a light bulb? Join the continuing high-margin adventures of Jack Alltrades and find the answers to these questions...and more!

compared to the first audio book in this series. this is severely lacking. the talents of nick phodel are Sorely missed when it comes to this great second chapter in Jack alltrades life. the story is once again amazing. I just find it's preformed by someone imitating the previous narrator. he does it well. but just feels off

Great book! bad audio book

I really enjoyed the first book and I was excited to see where it went and I was not disappointed!

I also think Eric really knocked the narration out of the park! I can’t wait for book 3!!

Even Better!

As a second book in the series its a definite improvement. There's more character development, more emotion, more danger and more is revealed about the overall world.
Its a very fast paced book and some details are handled way too fast, but thats becoming a norm for this series so its nothing out of the ordinary.
The change from Podehl to Summerer was jarring at first but i got used to it quickly since they do sound kind of similar. As much as i love Podehl's work, Summerer did a great job as the narrator and i am looking forward to discovering more of his work.

Overall, if you liked the first book, you're gonna like this one aswell.

Better than the first, fun and fast paced
