Get it now

I thought that this would be a mostly theoretical, boring novel, but I was proven wrong. With each chapter listened it was becoming more interesting. There are so many real stories, which makes for a great book. One of the books that can help you personally improve a lot and rethink your understanding of things you haven't been doing.

Narrator's accent is challenging

It was often difficult to understand narrator. I focused more to comprehend accent than content.

Narrator is not versed in this topic

I have nothing against non native speakers but he struggles with many words as he speaks and does not read them as they are written. Making listening to this a bit frustrating. He is also unfamiliar with the subject as there are many uncommon words that are associated with this topic that he does not pronounce properly for instance MOLLE is pronounced “molly” not “mole”

NOT worth eleven bucks!! Not even close.

I'm in chapter 3 so far and still waiting for the author to quit stretching, filling and waisting time. The reader, where is that accent from? Trying to pin that distracting accent is the one entertaining thing I have received as of yet. I already SO want my money back.

Not very accurate

From the title to the overview it sounded like a good book, but that's about as far as it goes. I am pretty well skilled in bushcraft and survival in the wilderness. I'm no expert by any means but I'm not clueless either. I will say that the basic concept is there but core values are not. Like how it talks about sharpening your knife at a 25° angle; not all knives have that angle and if yours doesn't then you will do more harm than good. Or when it says to bang two rocks together to get a spark for primitive fire, that is no easy task and the rocks have to be the perfect type to do so. I'd much rather use a piece of chest of flint on the spine of my carbon steel knife and have much better odds. If you want the real deal I recommend and book by Dave Canterbury hands down.

Great recommend!

People here are not lying with regards to how good this audiobook is. I've purchased this reading good comments about it. Now I have actually read or should we say- listen to this and I'd say this book is really worth it, and great as what the others also said. It was written practically with no exaggeration and indeed was helpful. Thanks for recommending this to me!
