About this listen

Brutal Vows is the fourth book in the scorchingly hot mafia romance Queens and Monsters series by USA Today bestselling author J.T. Geissinger, where the fast-paced tension of John Wick meets the high-stakes love of Romeo and Juliet.

An Irish mobster with a brutal grudge. An Italian mafia princess with a dark secret. Two enemy empires joined in sacred marriage vows. Let the hating games begin.

Reyna –
If this arrogant Irish mobster my brother sold my niece to thinks I’m going to play nice over this arranged marriage BS, he should think again. I don’t care if this match with the Mob will make my brother capo of the Five Families.

I don’t care how much money, territory, or power it will gain us. I especially don’t care that the Irishman is the sexiest man I’ve ever seen. I won’t allow my innocent niece to suffer the same way I did. Even if I have to kill him.

Spider –
I’m supposed to marry sweet, beautiful Lili. So why can’t I stop thinking about her swamp witch of an aunt? Reyna who hates me. Reyna who challenges me. Reyna with the guts of a Viking, the body of a fertility goddess, and the attitude of a feral cat.

Nothing good can come of what I’m feeling for a woman who’s not the one in the wedding contract I signed. A woman I want so much, I’ll have to burn the whole world down to get.

Holy smokes! This series just keeps getting better and better! I can always count on this author for a sexy and laugh-out-loud funny romance. She straddles these two extremes so very well (Book Twins Reviews)

Spider and Reyna? Oh my god. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Every scene is either sizzling with tension or dripping with sarcasm. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is everything I crave in a dark romance: sharp dialogue, stubborn pride, and just enough vulnerability to make you fall hard for both of them.

perfect mix of passion, pain

I truly loved this story, I love hearing Homer (Spider) his story and the role he plays in this world, He was a “good” guy from the beginning (book 2). He is smart, funny and very sensitive. But let’s talk about Rey (Viper), she is a goddess, she is smart, she is everything. She is not afraid of anybody and I loved reading about adult woman in her 30…They both have a loving connection and the narrators both did a very good job, a specially Troy Duran, because he does every male voice and the accents he has to do, wow 10/10.. thank you! The only thing I would love to hear more about, was the story about het niece andI just wanted more about the storylines about the couples in the other books, but I’m just spoiled, because those were really good too! .I hope it doesn’t end with this book, I want more!

The whole Queens and Monsters series is amazing and ticks all my boxes, dark, spicy, more mature MC's, likeable FMC's and MMC's, banter, possessive and hot MMC's, good story throughout, whats not to love! I just couldn't stop listening, and a teeny little detail that I liked was although these are not Romantasy there was a little hint at fated/soul mates in each book that melted me as it's a trope I love,

Great series.

Loved this story. JT Geissinger is one of the better writers of this type of book. She has a great balance of whit and humour in her writing and really brings her characters to life. Loved these two in particular, Spider and Reyna. The narrators are absolutely brilliant. I’m Scottish and Troy Duran’s Irish accent is brilliant. The Irish humour and banter really comes over. I’m sure the author must have Irish/Scottish relatives somewhere. She definitely has it nailed. Well done to all. Hope there is more from this series.

Brilliant
