Summary

Nine years ago, he broke my heart and never returned. I vowed to forget him...if only I could.

When I was a child, I fell in love with a Dakkari boy. The prince of our clan. Rukkar, we called him. For he was destined to become the greatest horde king of our time.

He was Kiran of Rath Okkili. My friend. My strong, unyielding protector. His mischievous smile and golden eyes made my heart flutter and my soul sing. And just when I began to believe he returned my love...he shattered me so completely and never once looked back to see how I’d survived.

Nine years later, he’s returned.

Only, he’s not a prince anymore.

He’s a horde king. Cold and cruel. With molten eyes like sin and a body made for war.

I promised myself I’d never love him again.

He intends to make a liar out of me.

Because he not only wants my love again...he also demands me as his queen.

okaaay

I guess the first few in the series set the bar pretty high. This book is good, don't get me wrong. If it were a standalone I'd rate it higher, but like I said the other books hit harder with higher stakes in the plots.

🌻Not a complete plot, in this one!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I have always found the concept of Horde life, intriguing; so I’ve loved this series. However, this particular book’s plot was incomplete. It was not a cliffhanger, but rather, the major conflict was introduced, explored and then never mentioned again. Perhaps the author intended th be implying that this conflict would be addressed in the next book but, it was not clear.

Therefore, the romance between the H/h is all that was added, to completion, in this chapter of the series.

In the pervious books, the H/h tackle a crises, together, conquer it but a new issue had risen, at the end.

Therefore, although the book was hot and romantic, it missed the mark; in my opinion!

Dumb Stuff

The main female character had a reason to not trust; however, her dumb stuff adversely affected others. I feel for the others affected by her poor decisions. Narrators did a great job with characters. Hope there will be more books to come.

Love it 💘

I waited for the 4th book and was so happy to see by surprise it was out! was not disappointed and very much curious if the story will continue as there was some very much unanswered questions left ugh!! now i will be checking every month to see if a 5th will be out. As usual both narrators did a fabulous job telling this story. although the story left off with a cliff hanger, we never got to fins out what the red fog covering the dark mountain and spreading is?

It wasn’t the best one

I wish there was more on the mist an like I get that everyone has to grow an Learn an find there own way but I can see what everyone was getting at on the reviews with the main girl like no one is just going to site around for him for that long like why wouldn’t she have at least given her another love who then died so that way she could have known what healthy love felt like so she wouldn’t have whined the whole time about shit an who just stays a Virgin that long I mean if that’s how they want it in this Book series that’s fine I mean they could’ve made her travel an learn meds an just more she could ha w just been so much more I feel like but she wasn’t an he only came back for a dream idk it just goes in every bad relationship after she gave so much of her self an she didn’t even really make him work for it the last books where so flipping amazing an this one just wants it would have been better if they just were in love there whole Childhood an then he went for his trials and then started to pull away and then they became strangers she ends up meeting somebody else falling in love they had a baby he dies the red mess comes so then he comes back to see his dad she’s a healer so he asks her for old times sake she says yes to get the title and respect and takes the son or the daughter because remember her partner is dead and then the child is like that Corky funny third person over time they fall back in love an have boom there you have it would have been so much better idk
