This story is dark, gritty, sexy, seductive. It follows are two main characters Claire and Johnny through their struggles in the mafia world. It all starts when Claire bumps into Johnny randomly one night and the rest is history

Audio Review
Bridget did a fantastic job at portraying the development of Claire throughout this book. I loved how innocent she made her seem in the beginning and then as the story progressed her voice got dirtier and sexier with how dark she became after she killed Griffin. The emotional aspect of this book really had me crying while listening to this. Claire goes through a DV situation with her ex and Bridget perfectly nailed this to the point that some points made me jump as I was so immersed in this world. Lets talk about Jake and his portrayal of Johnny and other male characters. Holy Hell. This man gives the grit, the fire, the spice every single time I listen to one of their audiobooks. Johnny is a so called bad-boy but in fact he is a cuddly bear who is over protective. Jake adds this special flair to this that makes you get butterflies in your stomach and swoon at this main character.

Book review
This dark romance story was LONG. It was a struggle to get through some parts of this at times. However with the constant action. abuse, romance and then the spice this story does leave you wanting more. I liked how Luna portrayed a abusive relationship at the start and how it truly is. I liked the character development of Claire and Johnny so much and how they are bound to eachother. I do feel like part 1 and part 2 were 2 separate books though with 2 different story lines. part 1 following Johnny and tha package and Claire and her DV. part 2 is about family. The spicy scenes were really good aswell. They were more mid-end of the book though. The other thing i didnt like was thats Jonny learns Claires name later on in the book (chapter 14)

I’m loving Luna’s contemporary romance books and this was amazing. Johnny tries is hardest to keep Claire out of his life but the draw they have to each other is undeniable. Love Johnny & Claire they are perfect together the story and the characters were perfect.

Loved listening to this book, it features love, hope, mafia families, the unionism and so much more. It follows Claire and Johnny’s path together and wow… didn’t see the turns the book took!
Jake and Bridget Bordeaux just breathe life into the characters and loved loved loved listening to their voices.
