Wow this series is amazing. If you love Mafia stories this series is seriously full of everything that you want in a mafia book. It has tension filled dealings that pull these two families together. With one common denominator: Nora!
It really pulled my attention in and held it right to that hanging ending where it leaves you wanting more right now! But Boris and Nora get their HEA.
Two mafia families one Russian one Irish. Held together by a friendship between Boris and Killian. Boris has loved Nora forever but he knows that he wouldn’t be accepted by her Irish mafia family if he were to try anything with her. In kind Nora pines for Boris. These two are seriously hot and when they finally get together, explode off the pages in their mutual sexiness and want for each other. Forbidden love that they keep hidden for as long as they can from each other’s families.
This truly is a mafia book. There are gruesome twists and violence that are exactly what one would expect to see as mafia dealings. The writing is what I would realistically visualize as how mafia dealings would be and had my heart beating so fast in some scenes that I was riveted by the whole book.
The casting of Gregory Salinas as Boris was perfect. He was many accents that helped pull all of the characters into the story. His voice was perfect for Boris and the secondary characters as well. Allyson is completely new to me and her work on this book was true to Nora’s character, showcasing her doubts in the families finding out anything about the connection between Boris and Nora. This was a riveting book that was a part of series and I can’t wait for the next book ❣️

Nora and Boris have an intense chemistry and draw to each other but her Irish mob brothers are determined that she should be married to an Irish man and continue the Irish bloodline.
The story is very high action and intense. While there is some seriously steamy loving and fiery romantic scenes, this is a story of the Irish and Russian Mafia (among others) so be prepared for some gory and sometimes gruesome scenes.
Maggie Cole's writing is complex, exciting and Broken Fighter's intricate plot is a testament to just what a huge talent she is. The story is like a mixed tapestry of love, steam, action, family, and darkness. It is a fantastic blend that works incredibly well.
Gregory Salinas and Allyson Voller deliver an edge of the seat, intense performance. The acted each scene to perfection. Whether the scene is steamy, intense, emotional or violent, they had me transfixed.

I loved the 2nd installment into the Mafia Wars, i enjoyed it twisting in with book 1 and having snippets of the other Ivanov brothers- cant wait for their stories as well as those O'Malley Men!!!
Steamy scenes but i will say one thing the Jesus, Mary and Joesph got over-used (just my opinion) other than that i loved Boris and Noras story- im glad Boris got his woman..
