Broke Down by Sharan Daire is a reverse harem romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vivienne Ferrari and Jack Calihan. This is the first book in the My Over The Top Possessive Alpha Harem series.

This is the first book of Sharan's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Shelby, Kaleb, Derek, Chris, and Everett. I also enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.

The book ended on a cliffhanger, but that wasn't a surprise since it's the first book in the series. I can't wait to dive into the next book Knocked Up to get more of their story.

Vivienne and Jack did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like instant connection romances, reverse harem romances, or contemporary romances.

I wanted to love this, I liked the idea of it, but it was bit more cheesy insta love than what I normally prefer.
I enjoyed the single mom aspect, that was well done.

This story is literally a fairytale and I loved every minute of it. Shelby is a young mother down on her luck trying to get to her grandmothers house with her two young children when her car breaks down in the Ozark’s near a lodge. Derek a sheriff finds her and gets his twin brother who’s a mechanic to help with her car. These two men also own a very posh lodge in not middle of the woods with their two best friends. Shelby is attracted to the twins Caleb and Derek and when she meets Chris and Everett it’s almost too good to be true. Shelby is very insecure because of the way she grew up and then marrying a man who treated her and their children horribly. She’s a realist thinking this is too good to be true to be offered a nice place to live men who love her children and a good paying, it’s up to these four men Derek, Caleb, Chris, and Everett to convince Shelby this is her life and not a fairytale.
