Enemies To Lovers

Absolutely loved it stepbrother enemies to lovers and it was perfect . This is my second listen and I enjoyed even more than the first time . Michael Gallagher & Stefanie Kay’s narration was amazing.

Steamy siblings! (not really, don't worry....)

This take on enemies-to-lovers had me seething to begin with and I really couldn't see Brix as being redeemable, but Brooke O'Brien managed to turn him around. Brix's and Liv's story is explosive and steamy and Michael Gallagher's and Stefanie Kay's narration complement each other perfectly. Love it!!

Stepbrother Bully Romance

Brix by Brooke O'Brien is a stepbrother bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michael Gallagher and Stefanie Kay. This is the first book in A Rebels Havoc series and can be read as a standalone.

The book comes with a warning/caution "Due to strong sexual content, coarse language and mature subject matter, this book is not suitable for under the age of 18."

This is the first book of Brooke's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the chemistry between Brix and Ivy. Their relationship was a bit of roller coaster but you couldn't help but root for them.

Michael and Stefanie did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you love stepbrother romances, bully romances, or enemies to lovers romances.

Plenty of sexy time!

This book gives you plenty of sexy time! You get a bit of taboo mixed in there and it all ends with not 1 but 2 epilogues so you get all your loose ends tied up for you!

Enemies to lovers at its finest

Enemies to lovers my favorite trope Ivy and Brix went to high school together and he maxed her life a living hell they hate each other so when they meet up with each other years later he does not recognize her and hits on her to make matters worse they realize their parents are involved and eloped. Forced to spend the summer together in the same house sparks fly between these two. But will a bet made be the end of this romance that could be so much more. I enjoyed this book so much and I can’t wait to read the stories of the other Rebel’s Havoc member s and them finding love.

Brix starts out as a total a** but eventually he does redeem himself. He's right when he says he doesn't deserve Ivy's forgiveness but I'm happy she gave it because it turned into a great listen. The narration was good and the story was a fun listen for sure.

Entertaining and captivating

Brix Ward is the typical bully. Mean and uncaring who he hurts. Unfortunately for Ivy she was the target for most of it throughout high school. Now she's back for the summer from college and has to deal with him all over again.

These two have that explosive animosity/chemistry. There is truly a fine line between love and hate. These two were so interesting and entertaining and I loved watching them together. I loved the back and forth and the heat was off the charts! I couldn't walk away.

Stefanie Kay and Michael Gallagher did a great job of bringing the characters to life, very entertaining and kept my attention.

Steamy Stepbrother Romance!

Brix is a wonderfully written bully stepbrother romance, an excellent start to the Rebels Havoc's series. The storyline was entertaining, charming, and steamy with the right amount of drama and angst. The main characters Brix and Ivy, have a connection that they can't deny, despite their past and present circumstances. Brix is the lead singer of Rebels Havoc band, a bad boy, broody, arrogant, and Ivy's high school tormentor. Ivy is his contrast, a sweet, high achieving college student. Their relationship is totally explosive and the chemistry, scorching. I really enjoyed their story and how it unfolded, especially when Brix started opening up more and letting himself be vulnerable.

Michael Gallagher and Stefanie Kay did an excellent job with the narration. They captured and portrayed the character's personalities and connections nicely, breathing life into them. Overall, this was an enjoyable stepbrother romance, one I'll recommend to the fans of the genre.

Book One of Rebels of Havoc focuses on Brix Ward as he reunites with his former high school victim...who happens to be his new stepsister. The girl who he bets his best friend he will be bedding and sending back to college crying into her textbooks by the end of the summer... the girl who declares he will have the best Hate S3x of his life with to her face mere moments before their parents announce their new relationship status. Ivy tries her best to ignore her rockstar new brother despite the sizzling chemistry between them. From crazy headboard thumping wars through their bedroom walls, the ballsy flirting and date sabotaging.. its geared up to be a long summer.

I loved the progression from the hate-to-love and Brix finally becoming a decent semi-human as he helped his mother through rehab. Narrators were fantastic and the writing was great.
I look forward to more in this series.
