Summary

In this poignant and charming short story, a daughter yearns to connect with her absent father through the letters they exchange. She is not put off by his pedantic corrections of her writing, despite the slow reveal that he is less than perfect himself.

Book 1 of 12 in the Sticky Fingers short story collection: diverse, dark-humoured, and deliciously bite-sized. Fans of Roald Dahl and Gillian Flynn will love these unsettling stories with a twist in the tale.

Bridge Gate

A short story of a young girl connecting with her absentee father through written letters. The reason for his absence was not what I expected. An entertaining short tale written by JT Lawrence and narrated by Bianca Flanders. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

A Heartwarming Short

This is a story about a young girl trying to connect with her father through letter writing, Although only twenty five minutes long, you can't help but fall in love with the two. It's a beautiful story worth your time. The narration is well done. Bianca Flanders gives the characters their own voice and emotions. She really puts heart into what your listening to and makes the experience more enjoyable. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
