A fluff piece

Following the last part's somewhat exciting cliffhanger, the couple enjoys some trauma adjustments that lead nowhere yet and a nice, sexy holiday. Cute and fluffy continuation of the relationship, but a bit noneventful as far as plot is concerned.

If you love Sean and Xander...

Great Narration but only decent story. Charlie David does his best to elevate this audiobook and mostly succeeds but some of the author's plot choices leave a poor taste in my mouth. Highly recommend the first book, Inside Affair, in this series but only if you absolutely love the characters would I suggest this one. It was only love for Sean and Xander that got me through the poor writing.

A good book

Although I enjoyed the first book in the series a little more, this was still a very good book. Narration was still very good. The ending was a surprise to me. Can't wait to hear the next book in the series.

absolutely moving and fantastic performance

listening to charlie david bring sean and xander back to life for a second time was absolutely beautiful and intense

i felt every emotion going on with sean and xander i cried one minute and laughed a little the next

my heart broke at times with the feels in breaking news

Charlie david performed sean and xanders journey perfectly and ella franks words were moving

hmm who is Dick

the story is ok... but officer Dick.. is to sweet.. xander on the other hand.. great chareter built.. but over all first book realy good. book 2. nothing happen.. book 3 waist of money to buy it.

Even better the second time around!

I had the chance to read Breaking News when it came out and I loved it. Listening to it narrated by Charlie David somehow made it even better, though. Please note that Breaking News is a direct continuation from Inside Affair and you absolutely need to read them in order. If you haven't read the first book, what are you waiting for? You're so missing out.


I loved Xander and Sean together, their chemistry is out of this world and they just fit so well together, despite being so different. It was great seeing them grow even closer in this book. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're hotter than hot when they're in close proximity to each other. ;)


Charlie David was one of the first narrators I ever listened to and he's still one of my favorites. His voice is smooth and pleasant and his delivery is pretty straightforward and captivating.


While Breaking News doesn't exactly end in a cliffhanger, it's obvious there are going to be quite a few things to deal with in Headlines, the last book in the series, which will be coming soon. This book was sexy and fun with some low-angst to move things along. I loved their trip, seeing Xander so far out of his comfort zone and their newfound closeness, and can't wait to see how things will play out in book 3.

All the Feels!!

Charlie David’s narration was so fantastic for this series, and it definitely continued into this book. I loved his voice for Sean and Xander. They really matched what I had in my head as I read the books first. He did an amazing job on this narration! Things were really getting good in the second book of the Prime Time series. At the end of book one I was left saying “I need to know what happens next”! Well, next arrived and we were thrown right back into the action! We return with Sean having been injured while protecting Xander in his role as his bodyguard. While Sean takes his injury and recovery in stride, Xander has a harder time reconciling the events of his stalker and Sean being injured while saving his life. I have to say, I really loved how the next chapter of Sean and Xander’s relationship unfolded. They had some real conversations that made my heart melt a bit. Sean and Xander are what the expression “everything happens for a reason” means. They were brought together at this time after so many years of knowing each other for a reason. Sean is full steam ahead in his feelings about Xander. As you would expect from this author, the sexy times between Sean and Xander really start to heat up to epic hotness levels. This chapter of Sean and Xander had so many emotional peaks, it’ll keep you on your toes. Falling for his brother’s best friend and ex-boyfriend couldn’t come without snags right? I can’t wait to see how this resolves itself in the conclusion.

I don't recommend it

I didn't think there could be less of a plot than in book 1 - I was proved wrong. I had to skip certain parts because it was so boring and dragged out and 0 relevant to the "story". There wasn't even really a story. Very disappointed. I will definitely not read book 3. BUT as book 1 Charlie David was great to listen to!
