Since Sherlock Holmes, the police procedural has been a staple of British fiction. Enter Brock and Poole, two detectives whose creator - the renowned Graham Ison - is probably the most qualified writer to ever add to this genre. Ison’s 30-year Scotland Yard career includes much work on espionage cases and fuels his vivid renderings of how it all happens. Performer Damian Lynch’s wry, masculine voice complements Ison’s humor and suspense perfectly.

Breach of Privilege, the eighth in the Brock and Poole series, places our cool but committed detectives in the middle of a thorny case: an MP is assassinated months after he killed an inmate. Just how far down does the underworld go? Ison will have you biting your nails and chuckling at the same time.

Summary

A Brock and Poole mystery - When MP Hugh Blakemore is shot dead near a bus stop in the Fulham Road, DCI Harry Brock and DS Dave Poole are assigned to the case.
