Great narration. Decent plot, good spicy scenes, but a lot of angst. Frustratingly frequent use of pet name 'old man' that felt inauthentic and became irritating enough that it became a chore to keep listening when I just wanted to slap one of the MCs.

The characters were gripping and draw in. Narrators were superb and really brought the individual characters personalities to life.

Really enjoyed this one, my first from this author. There were a few bits I would have liked to closed out/clarified at the end but I still enjoyed it.

Great narrators and an edgy approach to the genre which other authors have too long relied on cut and paste plot lines.

There's no doubt the author knows how to write hot scenes, albeit they feel a tad bit lackluster due to the imo superficial romance. This makes protagonists' relationship feel technical and the sex like hydraulics.

The narrators are reliable and do a good job, but that alone doesn't up my opinion enough.

Not bad but not feeling the emotional connection, therefore I didn't finish the audiobook (at least for now)
