Story
A fun and sexy romance where the kiln isn't the only thing that's scorching hot. Leo Secombe loves his life, and he's convinced himself he's happy to be single. In his spare time, he keeps himself busy at a local LGBTQ centre that pairs a younger person with a community elder to help them feel included in today's rainbow family. Leo and Clyde have been buddies for a few years now, and signing up for a pottery class seems like fun. Merrick Bowman has been so focused on getting his pottery business up and running that he's forgotten how to date. How to live, even.

Story
Malachi Keogh finds himself in a job he neither wanted nor asked for when his father, boss of Sydney’s postal service, sends him to the end of the business line, a.k.a. the Dead Letter Office. Malachi expects it to be tedious and boring, but instead discovers a warehouse with a quirky bunch of misfit co-workers, including a stoic and nerdy boss, Julian Pollard. Where Julian is calm and ordered, Malachi is chaos personified, but despite their outward differences, there’s an immediate chemistry between them that sends Malachi’s head - and heart - into a spin.

Story
I’ve had a crush on my brother’s best friend since the moment I laid eyes on him four years ago. Warner Ramsey is 225 pounds of pure hotness, a media darling, and one of the best NFL quarterbacks in the league. Hell, he’s the reason I figured out I’m solidly bi. It was easy to keep my crush under control when I was in college. Now, we play for the same team, and every time he talks smack, I want to shut him up. With my mouth.
Summary
Michael Piersen isn’t up for complications. He’s one of Sydney’s fastest-moving career-focused corporate realtors, and the only thing he has time for is one-night stands with zero fuss.
Bryson Schroeder’s back home from two years overseas with plans to leave his family’s hotel empire and begin his own business ventures. Out with friends to celebrate his return, he sees a gorgeous blond man across the bar, and with merely a smile and a raised eyebrow, they leave together for a night of incredible chemistry.
The rules are clear: no names, no details, no complications.
But one night becomes one more night, and eventually the arrangement suits them both for weeks...until their professional and personal worlds collide. With their hearts already on the line, Michael and Bry need to decide just how complicated they want to get.

Another fun read from Nic.
I enjoyed this book the first time I read it, but listening to it brought out more of the characters for me.
Although there is a story, Mr SAF and Mr Bossy meet for sex and only sex. This is because they are both busy businessmen and do not need interruptions in their life, which means dating and relationships.
I enjoyed that the identities were hidden from each main character when they first met, and that carried on for a few more meets. After that, it didn't matter if each other had money or a job, the sexual chemistry was off the roof, and that was all that mattered.
I love the research the NR Walker does for her books, from simple things like food and drink from a specific country to all the processes of starting a new business. She never skips on the details, which makes her books for me.
Glen Lloyd did a clean and concise job narrating. But as usual, I sped up the audio to 1.25.

It was ok
This started off decent, but steadily became more tepid and a bit dull. The drama with the dad was just a plot device and felt a bit forced. Joel Leslie’s narration always feels more convincing (he’s narrated several of N.R. Walker’s books), whereas Glen Lloyd sounded like he was intentionally smiling whilst telling a story in the hope it would make his voice sound positive ...but just made me overly aware a narrator was telling me a story instead of me getting lost in it. There were several editing errors where words/phrases were repeated, so they didn’t do a proof check before publishing which seems a bit lazy.

Bossy Is One of her Best
I loved this - NR Plus Glen Lloyd = Awesome! NR's books are always good - I love most and a very few are "ok". This book is not just OK but Brilliant. This is a book where the relationship just flows beautifully and you can internally feel that - Glen Lloyds vocal interpretation of these two brings NR's writing to the 10th power with this lovely tome. Michael and Bry are interesting and feel authentic - you just kind of feel the peace and joy flow through from them - Red Dirt Hearts remains my Gold Standard for NR - but it's stories like this and Pieces of You series as well as many others that keep me thoroughly in her corner. Bring it on NR, keep using this kind of narrator - Joel Leslie was excellent, Nick J Russo is great, Iggy Toma is excellent - there are several others. The great narrator extrapolates on the writing! I'm hetero but Love, Love Love your Boys and their Love!

Just OK
It started well but the story or characters did not grab me at all. I found the story pretty boring, with no real stakes, not much world building or character development - or anything to really keep my interest. The MCs were too perfect and cookie cutter for me. Michael was way too sweet and naive for a cutthroat real estate exec; Bryce had too little damage or darkness for someone who grew up without a mom (and with an absentee dad). The dialogue was pretty much "you're so bossy" and "you're so hot" over and over (I'm exaggerating but it felt that way). The story was a succession of pretty similar encounters until the point where he two MCs conveniently fall in love at the same time ; no real hurdles or issues (the dad "hurdle" felt pretty fake and artificial). Even the transition from "this is just a sex thing" to "let's be boyfriends" was pretty uneventful. No complex human emotions or tension whatsoever. The hotness level was fine but I found it all pretty vanilla and repetitive. It all fell flat for me unfortunately.

A Lot of Fun
I really enjoyed this read. The premise of the story was good and the two MC's we're really sweet. There was no ridiculous angst, which I hate. Just two people who meet with no expectations other then a one night stand and want more but without "complications". I love how the two MC's progress in their budding relationship. NR Walker really nailed down Bryson with a solid idea for a business, she does her research and it shows. Glen Lloyd was perfect and I will definitely be looking for more books he's narrated.

First let me say I could l listen to Glen Lloyd read the dictionary and be happy. his voice OMG! Perfection. He nailed these characters and brought them to life. I will buy an audio book just for his narration alone. Next what a heart warming sexy read. Bryce aka SAF and Michael aka Bossy were delightful and real. I loved the progression of their relationship and the low angst of the story. I like when a couple gets to evolve and grow together in the story rather than have much of the book about their struggles. thanks forva great listen. love this author and have already downloaded several more of NR Walkers books!

Loved this!
I love this. Truly. The entire book was spent building the relationship between the two characters. Tons of dialogue. You could feel their connection and you can feel it as it continued to grow. I love books that feel like they’re real. I hate the absurd situations and ridiculous protagonists that often get thrown into romance books. This was just so good. I’m so happy that I read it.
