I absolutely loved this book. The storyline had me hooked, and the protagonist is just so well done—really layered and believable. The dark humour works perfectly, adding just the right amount of bite without overdoing it. And I have to say, the way the writer handles the sexual chemistry is spot on—it's natural, meaningful, and feels like an important part of the characters' connection, rather than just being thrown in for the sake of it.

The voices are great too, especially the lead, who has such subtlety and depth. It’s rare to read a book that’s part of a series but also stands completely on its own, and that, to me, shows real confidence and skill in the writing.
I've already purchased the second graphic audi book and I am really looking forward to it. 😉

This took me a chapter to settle in because it sounded a lot like the Devon Monk series I'd just listened to with the same sassy voiced character. But love GA versions best.

I previously listened to this title with the Nicole Poole version and I loved. It's one of my favourite books that I come back to. This dramatised version is also very good. I recommend both to listen to.
