Summary

Is borderline personality disorder keeping you from enjoying the most important parts of life? Then, this bundle is for you!

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a personality disorder that makes it incredibly hard to regulate emotions. This emotional experience can make it seem nearly impossible to return to a stable or even emotional state. This is especially true after something difficult happens for the person experiencing the disorder. It can seem like recovering from the emotional downswing can be impossible. Understanding the way the disorder works is the first step to understanding how to tackle it and to live a life that makes you happy and comfortable.

The first audiobook in this bundle will show you how borderline personality disorder affects your personality, how it changes your point of view on things that others may see differently, and what are the problems the disorder could pose for those who are affected by this disorder (directly or knowing someone who is).

The second audiobook in this bundle is all about action. By using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), you will be presented with real solutions that you can use to lessen the effects and the difficulties posed by this pervasive disorder.

In this bundle, you will find:

  • Reasons why BPD feel the way it does and how to change it
  • Techniques for taking control over your emotions
  • Tools you can really use to improve your symptoms
  • Ways to live a happy life with friends and family
  • And much more!

FAQs

My borderline personality disorder makes me feel like there is never any hope. Can this really help me?

Even if your disorders and symptoms have left you feeling completely alone and like there is no way out, DBT and CBT provide tools that will allow you to take complete control of your emotions and where they take you.

not a fan

as a woman with BPD I found this book so enraging at times I had to stop listening to it !!
what bothered me the most was the way the author spoke about people who suffer with BPD as mostly negative nutcases !!

don't get me wrong , there was parts in the book that are very informative but other parts are so degrading to a person with BPD.

I understand BPD is a serious mental illness and if I didn't have first hand knowledge and just decided to listen to this book , I would run a mile away from anyone with a BPD diagnosis because of the negativity of this book.

note to anybody reading this who wants to find out more about BPD because of a friend or family members diagnosis: we are not all narsasistic , we do not lack empathy, we do not all sleep around especially on the first date!!!
ridiculous

Mind matters

Very good way to get to know how mind works in depth as well as different angles. Absoubly great and needed read for all I would say personally. Much blessed piece or work.

Title is very misleading

I thought part one was ok and reasuring couldn't wait to get to part two, as I assumed it would give me tips on how to to cope with my disorder by using CBT and Dialect therapy techniques... but oh how wrong was I!!
It just explained how CBT and Dialect therapy can be useful for a number off disorders like bipolar schizophrenia not just borderline personality disorder and different ways of how it can be used it was a total waste of a credit and I cant even return it due to their being no staff due to the Coroniavirus. Its definitely not one of the better BPD books on audible.
For the record to my fellow BPD suffers I'm the emotionally unstable type and I also have social anxiety.

A bad translation

Translated badly into English . It is impossible to understand and quite irritating . A disappointment to say the least.

I am women with BPD

I purchased this book to hopefully help me understand how to build better relationships while suffering from BPD. It was actually pretty awful to hear this narrator say that a person or a woman with BPD FaceTime when you should stay away from. The whole idea is to get knowledge and to learn how to use the tools that are out there to help learn how to have healthy relationships. However when you purchase a book that you expect to be a tool and resource Say that people with BPD are not worth being close to you and that we are in capable of being loved it just made me feel like I couldn’t even listen to the story my heart was just hurting

workbook not much of a workbook.

The workbook focuses way more on cbt than dbt and it doesn't provide many techniques to help and cope

This book is for the worthy reveal.

It’s helping me, so far. I have what I call “ the checking disease,” and this book has given me the tools to finally squelch the little voice that wants me to constantly check things, look for “missing” things. Thank you for helping me get my life back!

Thrown together

The text is disorganized. Many ideas repeat themselves. The grammer is bad. Many words sound randomly chosen. It seems like the book was thrown together in a hurry. The reader, however, was slow and clear.

No idea if book is any good due to poor narrating.

Hard to follow this robotic narrating. It's a shame because I was hoping to get a lot out of this book but I'm unsure if I can go any further because it is such a boring listen and just sounds like a mess.

This book inspires me to continue.

It has valuable content for all. I'm happy with this guidebook and listening step by step.Help on how to overcome ocd. It felt like a lot of fluff. I don’t know if it helped after finishing the book.

The best rating on this guidebook.

I personally suffer from OCD, OCPD, and addictive compulsive behaviors due to borderline personality disorder. This book has been very insightful, straight forward and well worth the listen. It has given a much better grasp over my situation and has been a tremendous help. So glad I decided to download this! Definitely worth your time to listen. Thank you!

Such an excellent book.

If you have OCD you NEED this book! I have OCD and this has helped me gain such a better understanding. The steps can help of you actually follow them. I can't recall if the book talks about this, but using steps to expose yourself will greatly help you.

listen this great one book.

A wonderful book. As a person without OCD, I feel that if folks with OCD can overcome their strong compulsions and act the way they truly want to, then I should definitely be able to put aside any impulses (e.g. to check Facebook during unnecessary times), and do what I really want to do in the moment. Just remember not to be too harsh on yourself if you slip.
