Within the depths of her eccentric, struggling-writer mind, within her every novel, lies what she believes to be the perfect man. The perfect hero. His name...Bob.
Emily Stevenson dreams, creates, inspires, and writes all for the one character she truly feels no man alive could compare. No man alive, that is. All that changes when Emily's fictional world comically collides with reality. Not only does she meet the man who looks, talks, and acts like her "Bob", but she falls in love with him. He is her living, breathing, hero.
There's only one problem: Bob isn't living nor breathing at all. Bob is a ghost that only Emily and her eight-year-old daughter can see.
