Summary

Kelli MacCabe is a no-nonsense detective with a tough exterior. Only a select few know her as a loyal, loving friend. Committed to her family, her friends, and her job, Kelli puts her needs behind everyone else's.

As a surgeon, Nora Whitmore is used to being in control. The hospital is her life and leaves room for little else. Respected by her colleagues, but misunderstood by the residents, Nora takes what she needs and keeps everyone at arm's length. In the process, she creates unexpected enemies.

Tragedy brings them together. As chaos grows around them, the lines between them begin to blur. Despite being from different worlds, friendship grows between them, turning quickly to attraction. Will these two strong, independent women find a way to deal with their individual baggage? Or will they be overcome by it?

Brilliant

Would you consider the audio edition of Blurred Lines to be better than the print version?

it was such a good audio book and the first book ive listened to with this narrator she was really easy to listen to and made the characters very likeable

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blurred Lines?

when Kellie`s partner feels something in his legs ,it was such a brief mention but so important to kellie

What about Sarah Grant’s performance did you like?

Brilliant now one of my favourites

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

absolutely i managed it in two

Any additional comments?

WOW! I really like this audiobook!

I had never heard of of this author but the storyline sounded interesting and I like the narrator's voice so I decided to give it a try. I liked it from the very beginning. I loved Kelly and all the swearing!! she was definitely my favorite. it really was a nice love story between a cold doctor and a foul mouthed Detective. ha. the dialogue was great and I really did like the narrator's voice a lot. I also liked how everything slowly built up before they finally had sex. nicely done!

Crossing Over

This is a most distinctive book! The characters are very true to life! The book is well written, the story line is off the charts and the blunt in your face speech is true to life! The reader is excellent and I love this author I discovered! Now where is book two? Need book two and three please! Left me hanging!! Book two!! Please!! A well written book worth reading!!

Doctors and Cops are a perfect match.

Kelly is the worlds worst patient. Nora is the Attending Physician who oversees the residents and doctors. Their worlds collide and it’s magic. Great performance.

Loved This! Exceeded expectations

My only disappointment in this story was that it had to end. The story was well written & this is The Best narrator I've heard thus far. Kudos!!

I wish they took another narrator

The story was good, not great but good, interesting enough for me to go back to it, after I have stopped listening to it at some point. the reason I stopped listening to it was the narrator, she was slow, but worst was the fact that it sounded like a list of sentences and not a story, it didn’t flow... sometimes I lost the connection between sentences, paragraphs... it took twice as long to listen to it because the narrator stopped when she should have not.

Terrible

I get trying to make Nora stand-offish but the author takes it way to far.

An old fashion Love Story

Boy meets girl, boy pursues girl, girl is reluctant.....No Wait!! This is Girl meets Girl. A different take as two "difficult" people find love. I loved the book. Just a little steamy, but nothing more. It's a very good listen and great for all who like a little romance.

Sorry, not sorry

An enjoyable story line centered around two strong people in their own right dropping barriers and opening up enough to find something special. Well written. However, I just had a difficult time dealing with the Kelly character. I just really don't like that personality type and would not be around anyone like that in real life. The performance was decent. I'm not sorry for the experience. Looking forward to other KD Williamson books!

Good story, great chemistry

The capacity to describe and write great chemistry is the absolute number 1 criterium for me to like a romance book or author. Williamson has this down. On top of that there is an actual good story line with interesting characters and suspense. I am looking forward to reading more from her!

Read if you: like a slow build up, are interested in multi layered characters, like diversity in every sense

Don't read if you: are looking for sex from the first page, have something against cops or doctors

The narrator never irritated me which is already a great feat. After listening to books read by Victoria Vincent it is very difficult to get more than 3 stars from me in performance. If I had happened on this book before that I would have probably given 4. Since 5 is the maximum, that number is now reserved for Ms Vincent.
