Summary

Madeleine Frank's life is turned upside down when a natural disaster claims the life of her beloved husband. Fleeing from the Florida Keys to Bath to start afresh, Madeleine begins rebuilding her life and sets up a psychotherapy practice. But she's unaware that another force of nature is about to sweep in...

Rachel is one of Madeleine's clients; a volatile, damaged woman whose dark past eerily mirrors Madeleine's own. Their increasingly complex relationship will unlease a terrifying series of events neither woman is prepared for, which will eventually put an innocent child in great danger. Can the women survive the storm?

Not my taste!

This book (well I haven't finished it all yet) is Boring. I put in the title that it's not my taste, as it's not and I didn't want to give it an unfair review. Especially as I do not want to put other people off of reading it, I checked on amazon and it got five, 5stars reviews! It's not badly written, it's just not my taste at all. I go for more fast paced, gritty thrillers which are tense and a bit scary. This is milder and has a more touching storyline - totally different to what I expected or wanted which obviously doesn't help. The characters are interesting and the storyline is good and it comes together nicely. It's just not my type of story and thus I feel I cannot finish it. But don't let that put you off!
