these books are the best I listen to all of them im so happy that I bought all of the books of the demon accords. I give these books 💯 out of 💯

So looking forward to this - but it feels really disconnected and all those familiar voices (and the characters they projected) are gone. The narrator was fine - but not the one we’re used to for these characters. Previous episodes have kept me enthralled, but not this one. So sad.

I have absolutely loved The Demon Accords stories. Every single book minus maybe one has been absolutely incredible to read. The story the characters the way it all intertwines together is amazing. The compendiums linking in with different people's perspectives and views were really good and were really well written. Unfortunately I can't say the same for this last book. After all this time I felt this book was rushed. Some storylines some characters just completely forgotten about never heard of again and the way the book ends that's it no real ending just kind of like one of the stories where you just look into yourself and make your own mind up some people like that I don't particularly like that which is why it makes it a bit disappointing for me. I hope the spinoff books add more context and more to the end but yeah good but also disappointing

The final book appears rushed and poorly structured. It’s clear that this should’ve been a two part story with more extended focusing on each of the two male protagonist with enough time to be able to take in some of the females in first person. In some ways the structural problem arises from the shift in narrative perspective that occurred some episodes ago leaving Chris and Tanya as peripheral. After careful plotting of multi episode story arcs this has the feel of an author that simply wants to get it done and doesn’t mind cutting corners. The change in narrator, merely makes the structural problem even worse. What a shame to reward loyal readers with this less than epic conclusion.
