Summary

Twelve days ago a deadly infection spread across the world. Populations have been destroyed. Law and order are gone. Life as it was known has ceased. The infected are now the strongest species, and survival has become brutal.

Heather has survived by hiding. Hiding is her thing. People are bad. What others do to survive is no concern of hers. On a mission for supplies, she makes a decision that not only places her in danger but will change everything she ever knew - or believed in....

Set against the backdrop of The Undead - the UK's best-selling zombie horror postapocalyptic series - Blood on the Floor is a haunting tale of courage and loyalty. Listen as a stand-alone or chronologically between parts 15 and 16!

Exceptional !!

Brilliant narration, even though having read the story, it came alive for me on hearing it. so love this series, even the side stories are written with characters so full of grit and determination to survive.

Well written

Again I find myself gripped by the continuing side story of the Undead. Well worth a listen.

it's amazing!

I love the narrator and I really enjoyed hearing about the gang from a different perspective.
Another excellent read,. if you don't know, this should be listened to after book 15 in the undead series. it's basically book 15.5.
Enjoy!

Different but very enjoyable

It took me a while to get used to the narrator, but once I did it was great.
This is a great backstory on Paco and Heather and gives the much needed insight into what happened in the interim before they met up (again) with Howie and the gang. A much needed dose of the Undead after I finished the latest instalment of the main story.

This is one of my favourites of a great series, interesting take on the zombie genre, very well crafted characters.

Ties in well

Good blending with the other story, would have liked it to end as the Howey gang found them.

Brilliant

I kind of hate Mr Haywood. I've listened to all of the Undead series and connected books.
I've tried a few new books recently in the same genre. Despite several of them having good plots and storyline I end up being disappointed by them.
RR Haywood has the unnatural ability to make his characters become truly alive. with as much emotional depth as any great writer has ever managed previously.
so the reason I kinda Hate Mr Haywood is because he has ruined most of the other books I would have otherwise enjoyed.
After his books all the other characters are painfully Bland and unbelievable. lacking emotional depth aswell any connection from reader to characters.
So with all due respect screw you Haywood you have ruined loads of books I was looking forward to, and pls hurry with next installment so at least for another couple of days I can be happy and satisfied while listening again.
I was dubious about another narrater doing an undead book. however Rachel Hine was outstanding in this book.
