Sabrina awoke on her eighteenth birthday with the realization that the nightmares that have plagued her dreams were memories from multiple past lives.

This is a good idea and I was excited to see how it turned out. I enjoyed the dynamic of this relationship and how they continue to find each other. A brilliant performance.

An entertaining and short listen. The narration of this book was very good and it heightened the enjoyment I got from a very average story.
The story moved quite quickly as there was minimal world building and character development. I loved the premise of the couple being locked in a curse where Darius kills the woman he loves in her reincarnated form. I really wanted to see more of the dark side of Darius but he didn't appear to be much of a threat to her at all.
I did not like the way he referred to Sabrina as doll, a good girl and a good little f#@k-doll.
I did enjoy the supernatural element, the fae, magical powers and telepathy.

The writing is very poor.

It felt like a middle-grade novel than an adult fantasy romance. Give me dark, brooding, intimidating men, not "goofy smiles", back rubbing, waiting on swings or snowball fights... just cringy.

Unfortunately I couldn't connect with the characters or the story.
