Story
Milton may have once been a mild-mannered delivery driver, but now, he is one of the top agents in a magical fae guild with blood magic at his very fingertips and a team of gorgeous, badass faerie women around him. Everything is looking perfect, until a new crime wave starts in Jefferson City. Some evil bastards have started to kidnap innocent baby magical creatures. That's bad, but these creatures could be powerful enough to take down the city and the Seelie Court, so that’s even worse.

Story
John Doc Henry had been on the shortest, crappiest end of the stick since the first day of his life; no parents, bad foster parents, and abysmal luck at every turn. The day his life changed started out exactly like he had come to expect. His car died on a rarely traveled road, and he broke his toe shortly after dodging the one other car on the road. When it stopped and backed up to him, the license plate read “LADYLUK”, adding insult to injury.

To survive, he’ll have to perform a dark ritual that enslaves the beautiful witches to him. Chi power is as important as being able to fight. I'm one of the survivors. With my knowledge of martial arts and my special Chi skill, I'm turning myself into a force to be reckoned with.

When the aliens came down and told us they’d enslave all of the human race if we didn’t send our bigliest warrior to participate in their arena death games, I laughed at them. It was really funny because they obviously didn’t know who they were dealing with. Know what I mean? Then they said they would pick the greatest warrior, and they picked Marc Havak. He seemed like such an average guy, but he was a true-blue American. He even worked as a truck driver! That’s the kind of good guy we want defending us from aliens.

I've devoted my entire life to safe-guarding exotic animals. When a group of poachers invade the Komplot Toestel big game preserve, I'll take a bullet to the chest in the line of duty. As I laid dying, a mysterious goddess appeared by my side. Her offer was simple: teleport to a new world where I would be a game warden of a different sort. You see, there are no animals that need protecting in the land of Jadu. Instead, I've been tasked with protecting a tribe of lost monster girls. It's a tough job, and I'm just the man for it.

Did I always believe in magic? Not until today. Sure, I had seen my mother's ghost, but I'd managed to rationalize that. It wasn't until I was taken to some strange museum in Oregon and inducted into a supernatural agency that I truly believed. Then, something happened to the agency, and I was one of the last mages left in America. Now, I have to learn my peculiar magic all by myself. Well, not entirely by myself. I have a few beautiful women and a disgraced mage genius to help me figure out why my powers are so unique.

Carl was a regular construction foreman. Not the worst, not the best, and definitely not the thinnest. Even so, he didn't deserve that heart attack! He really didn't deserve being reborn into a dog-eat-dog world as a dragon. To be fair, it’s nice to be at the top of the food chain. Now Carl just needs to learn how magic works, which monsters are safe to eat, and why his hoard is so important to him. Dealing with change is hard enough, but he has enemy dragons incoming, hostile environments, and foes constantly trying to get bragging rights by taking down a dragon.

Summary
Milton was your average delivery driver until he had a run in with a dying fairy who imbued him with all his magical power. Now Milton can literally tear the blood out of his enemies with a gesture of his hand, every women he meets is attracted to his magical charm, and the powerful Fae Guild wants to pay him a bunch of money to fight evil.
All these new powers are a good thing, since a mad scientist has unleashed a monstrous horde of, well, monsters into the world, and Milton, along with his two new girlfriends, are the the only people who can stop him.
This novel contains a harem.

Just Awful
I couldn't get through an hour of this trash. The protagonist is entirely unlikable, being nothing more than a horny idiot who changes between being suave and stumbling at random.
The only half interesting thing that's there is the world, and no effort is made to build this. Magic and races just appear as if we're supposed to know that they were there all along but is nothing more than a way to throw hot women at the protagonist.
The narration doesn't even save this, being weirdly stilted with long pauses in odd places that make it all seem to flow strange.
Do not recommend. Even if this style of book is what you like (and I enjoy a good harem power fantasy from time to time) this is not worth your time or money.

Are you computer literate? be prepared for cringe!
I get it its magic and that I'm complaining about a book with magic, elves, dwarfs, and elf-dwarf hybrids.
But the "hacking" sequence in chapter 4 has got to be one of the cringiest pieces of literature that I have or will ever read. Romance literature's bad sex scenes have nothing on this. At least they did a little bit of homework, a threat posture is a real thing in the security world. The threat actor being the attacker, and the threat posture being how an organization responses to a threat that has been found. But the sequence of events goes like this.
1. Sporting Character - "OMG were being hacked, How do they flood us with so much data."
2. Main Character - "Back in the day a friend of mine hacked into my school to change grades, even though i don't know how they did it maybe if i remember what he was doing 5 years ago and we do the same thing here, maybe can help"
3. Main Character to Supporting Character - "Is it a DDoS, do an info dump on the site with the most activity."
4. Sporting Character - "brilliant you solved the problem, that was some good hacking"
5. The problem is literally resolved.
This is up there with
Jurasic Park - "Its a unix system!"
NCIS - 2 idiots1 keyboard
Hackers - "Give me cookies"
UnderSeige2 - simply shooting the machine with a gun - this was a Steven Segal film.

Welp
it's obvious the author is quite misogynist, looks matter most and the main character has too drool for the first ten minutes... and the rest of the time after that.
I reeeeaaaallly wanted to like this book because there is a good premise but dang, it's just, main character gets power, acts slightly nice. gets all the women.... ): nope

Maybe this could have been paced alittle better
Imagine that your at work and minding your business when out of nowhere the place is attacked by some wanted criminal. A injured passerby calls out to you and when you approached him, the person gives you a really really big gun. And lets say by some stroke of luck you manage to shoot the criminal using a weapon you've no experiance handling.
Immediately following this crazy event you're approached by a police officer for a Sit-rep.
After telling them that you stopped the bad guy with your BFG, the cop decides that the gun you have would make you a great police officer so they take you to their station and tell their Captain that you'll be working with them on the swat team. You then begin work within the minute, given more guns and armor, and then showed classified information the very day you joined.
Within following 2 days, you get into a fight with a fellow officer 12 years your senior, fuck your recruiter, insinuate to a coworker that they and the station your working at is as bad as the people they fight.
Finally you disregard your direct superior decades of tenure and experience in front of other officers to coup an active shooter situation, just because you 'felt' like you had to save someone you have no investment in.
Keeping in mind that you've just became an officer with no training, relevant experience, or screening.
For all the police know you could have been some psychopath criminal sympathizers who thinks with your dick and nothing else...
I'm not saying this story is bad. Just very very very farfetched considering its trying to be set in an urban fantasy mirroring the real world. This somehow feels less believable than someone being isekai'd and becoming some edge knight harem builder by some gods whimsical fancy.
2.5 stars. wouldn't recommend.

Another great start to a series from Logan Jacobs
A great start to another exciting series from Logan Jacobs. The book starts right in the middle of a fight scene which makes it a little hard to follow without context for the world, characters or situation but really helps you connect to the MC. It really sets pace for the rest of the book and never slows down. It has an blend of excitment, mystery, and lust along with a unique take on how human and Fae coexist. The book is full of flirting and sexual innuendo but it only adds to the story not dominating it. There are a couple of true sex scenes that convey the lust and passion between the characters perfectly without becoming some teenage boys unrealistic fantasy. The quality is exactly what you would expect from Logan Jacobs and the narration is spot on perfect. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Pretty good 1st book of the series
This was a good story about a human that was bestowed magical powers and the hand of blood and was able to help save the day with a magical guild fae! The story was pretty good- I liked the action parts but it can always have a little bit improvement! I read Vampire Lord prior to this series and that book is amazing compared to this which is pretty good! The male performer that read the story was excellent and truly made the story amazing, but some of the female voiced characters made me cringe!!! Their voices graded on my brain! All in all I’ll probably continue the series!!
