Summary
How do you catch a killer who leaves no trace?

Another great book in this series
Really warming to all the characters in these books. Even the unlikable, malevolent ones. These thrillers are really challenging, rarely do all the bits fit together easily so you don't get bored. A really good read, and good narration - I do sort of half and half read and listen.

fantastic as ever.
Still going strong, Kim Stone and the others do it again. If you enjoyed the other books this one will not disappoint. I love how we learn even more about Kim and Mikie's early childhood.

As usual Marsons keeps you guessing til the shocking end! Brilliant plot, believable characters! I would recommend this and all previous novels

Old storyline bit far fetched.
Bringing Alex back into it, running things from inside prison and being able to blackmail so many people was too far fetched and spoilt this book.

Crime, manipulation, family, murder, revenge.
Jan Cramer does the most amazing job narrating the Kim Stone books, and I have really missed this series.
As well as dealing with a whole story in itself, this book carries on a larger arc in Kim's life. You don't need to have read the previous books to be able to jump in as you'll still get a lot of enjoyment out of it as a crime thriller, but knowing the full story adds whole extra (sinister) layers.
These books seem to get better and better. There is no sign of the series plateauing, everything still feels fresh and works incredibly. It's another gripping installment, excellently narrated.
