About this listen

Before the end, there is often change, and change can be very painful. Declan and Stacia come face-to-face with the most powerful elemental of them all, one with the power to eliminate mankind before the Vorsook ever show up. It’s time to confront his destiny and decide what it means to be the most powerful witch of all time.

i didn't know how to write this without spoiling the story. it's different from the rest of the series because I think it looks like the deeper issues such as responsibly and the very nature of Good/evil/grey. Having said that there are the usual laugh out loud moments ect and it moves the series on without getting overly bogged down in those bigger questions..

smashed it

I'm normally a 5 star on the accords. just not sure about this one.
I have relistened to them all including the 3 compendiums and the new Book of Levy (which is awesome and a must before you listen to this one) in anticipation of this one and only a little disappointed, but disappointed non the less.
it's gotten so different, I miss the earlier ones where it's Chris' narrative.
I hope the next book Blood Lines comes from his point of view and that Declan, as much as I love him, is not the be all and end all.

missing the older stories with Chris at the helm

Beautifully written by John Conroe, the best narration by the amazing James Patrick. Cannot wait for the next one in the series !!!!

The Best !!!!

This book felt like it was more of a link between past and future stories than much of a story in its own right. I like the reintroduction of characters from previous stories but it did seem like we were being prepared for the next story when, hopefully, they will have something to do. I still enjoy this series but hope that the next book will have fewer lists - guns, clothes, food etc - and more actual storyline.
