Story
When Shawna Haydel was 16 years old, she dropped Ashton Guidry's name into a potion that would supposedly make Ashton fall in love with her. She knew it was silly, but she clung to one irrational thread of hope their friend Patty's concoction would grant her heart's desire. Shawna's hopes were dashed when Ashton packed up her things and went away to college completely unaware of Shawna's feelings. Twenty-three years after Patty's potion was brewed, Ashton returns to her hometown. She finds time has changed a lot, including Shawna.

Story
Falling stars are supposed to be a lucky sign, but not for Austen. Her new job as a secretary in an international games company isn't off to a good start. Her first assignment - decorating the Christmas tree in the lobby - results in a trip to the ER after Dee, the company's second-in-command, gets hit by the star-shaped tree topper. Dee blames her instant attraction to Austen on her head wound, not the magic of the falling star. She's determined not to act on it, especially since Austen has no idea that Dee is practically her boss.

Best I've read in a while....

Summary
Blaze Sonnier has had a bad year. In the spring, she made national news while dressed as the Easter Bunny in a brawl where she was trying to defend herself, and earned the moniker Bitch Slap Bunny. In the fall, the mother who abandoned Blaze for an acting career showed up on her doorstep, not only injured from an accident but broke and in need of a place to stay. While on a bike ride to purge her stress Blaze encounters one small (in physical stature only) silver lining with a flat tire.
The job Caleigh Breaux took after graduating college required her to live as a nomad into her late thirties. Weary of traveling, hotels, and being unable to have a real relationship, she made a career change. Though she hoped the change would lead her to meet the woman of her dreams she's stunned when it happens the night she rolls into the town of Falcon, Louisiana.
In her latest romantic comedy, Robin Alexander has woven another tale with her trademark humor about small-town life, family, forgiveness, and falling in love.
Contains mature themes.

Robin + Lori = Greatness
Another Robin Alexander book brought hilariously to life with the Lori Prince Narration. Fantastic storyline with plenty of laughs & side characters that are just as interesting as the main characters. Please Robin never change your fantastic writing style & Lori Prince pairing. You compilment eachother brilliantly. Only problem with Robins Books is they come to an end & you instantly want more books. I eagerly await for her next book.

Another great performance by Lori Prince
Read the book sometime ago and was pleasantly surprised when the audio version popped up. Another hilarious story by Robinson Alexander and another book Lori Prince brings to life. No spoilers but I will say I found myself rooting for Chantal. Hoping the rest of Ms. Alexander book collection makes their way to the audio world. Audio wont disappoint, especially if you’re a fan,

Absolutely outstanding!
I literally laughed out loud! From front to back this is an awesome read /listen.
All the characters are fascinating, down to earth, and historical!
Every one of us has a past, and we all react in different ways. Regardless of the detail, remembering we are human is the key.

Not my favorite
I usually really like Robin Alexander books. Lori Prince is hit and miss for me personally. This one fell flat for me on both fronts. I liked the premise well enough and thought the storyline had potential, but it just never arrived. I’ve been a lot more impressed with Lori Prince as of late, but not here. Sometimes her voice grates on me and this is one of those times.
The writing is good, as always, and the story entertaining enough. It was just a little too “quippy” for me and could have stood more depth.
I wouldn’t NOT recommend this title, it just wasn’t for me.

It was okay
This was my first book by Robin Alexander. I found that some places in the book seemed off … almost weirdly spliced together… like some sentences were missed. It wasn’t a bad read but it’s not one I’d read again.
I didn’t dislike Robin’s writing style but I also am not fawning all over her like I have other lesfic writers.
As always, Lori Prince was on point. Loved her narration.

One of my favorite romances
The story is chalked full of personality, sass, laughter and lovable characters. Thankfully, there’s not the usual immature miscommunication between lovers storyline, just growth and life changes of all the characters involved. (Plus, the descriptions of menopause had me rolling.) I love when a couple of authentic women find their perfect person to make life a comical delight with. I’d love a sequel! Can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next.

Honestly I didn’t know if I would like this book. I have run out of titles from my favorite authors, yes I listen that much.lol. Alexander was a new author for me. I laughed so hard so many times that I cried. I work by myself so people were looking at me strange. I love the book and Lori Prince did a fantastic job. I would recommend this book to everyone. I can’t wait to read more of her material.
