Özet

A Gotrek Gurnisson Audiobook

Saving the life of a blaspheming warrior priest, Gotrek finds himself bound to a new companion – and drawn to the Realm of Life, where a terrible threat is infecting its way into reality.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

Gotrek Gurnisson, the legendary Slayer, picks up a new accomplice – and faces a truly grotesque challenge in the disease-ridden spawn of the Plague God himself.

THE STORY

Deep in the wilds of Ghyran, a former warrior priest preaches for humanity to reject the gods. The sole survivor of a massacred Dawnbringer Crusade, Amara Fidellus believes that Sigmar has betrayed her – and when she faces execution for such blasphemy, it’s only the intervention of a drunken, taciturn and incredibly violent Slayer that saves her life.

Now bound to Gotrek Gurnisson by a life-debt, Amara finds herself caught up in his quest for revenge. But when the duo become aware of a sorcerous threat building on the far Rocanian Coast, Gotrek and Amara must put aside their own desires for retribution to confront a terrible danger that could plunge all of Ghyran into Chaos, and see a deadly aspect of Nurgle’s Garden manifest in the Mortal Realms.

think we all know what to expect from Gotrek by now, this fits those expectations nicely. was sad to hear Rhubarb the cat became a nurgle pirate captain since the TV work ended.

I liked the story, decent supporting characters and a fun, if easy, storyline however it just feels so disconnected from the previous story I felt like gotrek had at long last found his footing and even new purpose in these new realms, to see his people united and strong, with a new appreciation for the supiror old world I'm sure he would have expounded at them but then events... (no spoilers) he just falls back into mindless drinking and aimless grudges, which is fun but I felt like we were really getting somewhere with the greater story.

Pulling a 180

Keeble as always..... perfect.
only Keeble can do Gotrek justice. GREAT!
I found myself laughing out loud at his perfect delivery of gotreks one liners

A good start to the new arc, not as good as the best Gotrek stories but solid.

The new companion is a solid character and had a good backstory and developed through he story.

The prologue hinted at a broader story arc than that we’ve seen so far so shows promise.

Worth a listen

Gotten doing what Gotrek does
