This book should be listened to or read by everyone. It has such a good message about kindness and not being cruel to animals and people. Think and learn about possible outcomes before moving forward without knowledge.

I've seen the film of Black Beauty many times but never read the whole book, this was an amazing story, the film missed out a lot, but one thing which is similar is the absolutely heart-destroying scene with Ginger. I loved this story, narrated really well too! I'm glad I was finally able to finish the book!

Such a great story and told so well, the narrator did a great job of conveying Beauty’s emotion and character and doing the other voices. The children loved it and wanted to listen again straight away! Only have the performance 4 stars as it seemed a quiet recording, even turned up to full volume we sometimes found it difficult to hear the story if there was any background noise so not so great in the car or if the washing machine is running!
