Amazing book, well written.

The story was very beautiful even though it was my second time listening it (I read it the first time), it still broke my heart many times. But of course the book has happy ending which was worth listening/reading.

Loved every bit of it. Catharina Maura is an amazing author and I love all books from her.

The performance was amazing, the narrators were perfect for this book.

This book is perfect if you want to read about epic love story.

We’ve never been able to do that before. “Sweetness is all I taste,” he whispers against my lips.

Oh Silas and Alanna, these two had my heart. Bittersweet Memories is definitely my favourite of Catharina’s Off-Limits series, this was a totally unexpected story. I kind of went in blind and didn’t realise it was going to be in two parts, so much happens in the story. The narration was amazing, as always, Zachary was first class and Lexi, who I’ve not heard before did an amazing job. The duet narration worked really well. Although part of a series, this can definitely be read as a standalone. I’m really looking forward to reading more of Catharina!

This story was touching - I really enjoyed the male narrator. The female narrator was okay but sometimes lacked emotion in her voice. Alanna’s story could have been elaborated more. I also don’t like the direction Silas took in areas it didn’t match his character from the beginning.. so it was hard to believe he spoke the way he did in some spots. I will say it feels a tad rushed as well. I would recommend it though, it’s a good read/listen. Reminds me a lot of Jessica Hawkins something in the way series. Forbidden love style.
