Summary

London.

I loved this book, I read it before listening to the Audible copy. The mystery was very well done and the romance side was very contemporary, not slushy. The narration was quite good although as a British listener I found it jarring that many words were pronounced the american way despite everything being read with an English accent. Maybe it was for the US market, but hugely irritating that english cannot be spoken correctly even when the protagonists are British. Better editing may have helped with this.

Excellent weave of coming out, fumbling romance, heartbreak, horrid human fates, and murder mystery. I recommend if you're not queasy when it comes to emotional cruelty, some slight gore, and love a story with extreme highs and lows.

I like the story and the mystery but I HATE the romance! In my opinion, the MC ends up with the wrong guy.. I was left unsatisfied…
The narrator is really good though!

Loved every minute couldn’t stop listening. Probably one of the best book I had listen to. Story is clever beyond words, gipping but emotional.

Pretty good, both the relationship between the characters and the murder story, nicely intertwined. You might not enjoy bits of it if you’re a snowflake who gets triggered by cheating content.
