Summary

In his first title, front man of Slipknot and Stone Sour Corey Taylor took on the seven deadly sins, pulling them apart to reveal all that is irrelevant and wrong about the vices in the modern world through his own uniquely hilarious yet ferocious style. But in Corey's eyes that's not all that is wrong with the world today....

From bad music, fame and infomercials to raising kids, sex and airport security, You're Making Me Hate You is the result of a one-man mission to demonstrate the alarming rise in worldwide idiocy, buffoonery and out-and-out disregard for intelligent thought.

Rant filled but eloquent, shocking but intelligent, this is best-selling author Corey Taylor at his most Corey Taylor, and he doesn't leave himself out either... turns out he's just as f***ing stupid as the rest of us, too.

I spent a great deal of time nodding my head, laughing and ranting along with Mr Taylor. Brilliant book.

Finally, some honesty about human kind these days.

Just loved the honesty of his opinion from the observations over the past decade. Feel quite strongly about the way we as humans have become too. And Taylor has hit the nail on the head with a sledge hammer.

It’s Corey F**king Taylor

Now this man is a living Legend and if his last two books were to go by this was going to be an absolute blast.
The way he writes is hilarious.
What is even more funnier is the way he just goes off on a tangent for a while and then has to backtrack to the original point.

I loved his last two books as they had me crying with laughter all the way through and this book is no different.
His I don’t give a f**k attitude makes for some great comedic writing.

What makes this Audiobook even better though is it’s read by the man himself.
It just adds that brilliance to an already awesome book hearing him read it.

If your a Corey Taylor fan this is a must.

This book changed how I look at people.

What did you like most about You're Making Me Hate You?

This seems like a very boring and overused response to a book that contemplates the actions of people but I'm serious this book changed how I look at people and now I feel really well equipped to go out into the world and not be a moron.

What did you like best about this story?

The part where Corey is just a grumpy British guy...

So all of it.

What does Corey Taylor bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Listening to Corey's own mannerisms and the way he puts """emphasis""" (to put it lightly) on parts of the story really brings forward his points.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Oh, the world is over? I didn't realise, I was just checking my twitter.

Any additional comments?

Such a great book, one I will never forget.

I love it

Its a book full of humour, Corey's way of looking at life, and it just feels good listening to this guy as he has an agree-able way of looking at life and all the shit happening to us.
I loved it.
