Für Anne Frank war ihr Tagebuch in der Enge des Verstecks Ersatz für eine Freundin und Gesprächspartnerin, Ventil für Sorgen und Unmutsausbrüche, zugleich Übungsfeld für ihre schriftstellerischen Talente. Für uns ist und bleibt es das eindringlichste und bewegendste Dokument der Judenverfolgung im Nationalsozialismus.
