Publisher's Summary

Part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman, part collection of synonyms for nunny, Sarah Millican's debut audiobook delves into her super normal life with daft stories, funny tales and proper advice on how to get past life's blips - like being good at school but not good at friends, the excitement of IBS and how to blossom postdivorce.

If you've ever worn glasses at the age of six, worn an off-the-shoulder gown with no confidence, been contacted by an old school bully, lived in your childhood bedroom in your 30s, been gloriously dumped in a Frankie and Benny's, cried so much you felt great, been for a romantic walk with a dog or worn leggings two days in a row even though they smelt of wee from a distance, then this is your audiobook. If you haven't done those things but wish you had, this is your audiobook. If you just want to laugh on a train/sofa/toilet or under your desk at work, this is your audiobook.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying reference material will be available in your Library section along with the audio.

    "Was never going to disappoint!!!"

A honest a humourous account of how Sarah came to be (Choice words included) one of the UK's best comedians. Funny throughout.

    "5 Champion Stars"

One of the most enchanting women reads one of the sweetest autobiographies.

Sarah welcomes you into her life through food, jokes, honest storytelling, animals and a little self help advice.

We often see Comedians put out interesting and funny books. This is the one that you need to actually pick up and take home.

The audio narration, editing and production was top notch. Highly recommend.

Given my age and sex, I doubt I'm Sarah's target audience but this book is fantastic! Every chapter had me laughing. She has a great talent for mixing together funny anecdotes with great advice and serious solutions to serious problems. Couldn't stop listening!

"Warm, funny, reassuring and a tad rude (hilarious)"

Being narrated by Sarah makes this audiobook so much better. She's really reflective about her life and her observations and humour really worked to cheer me up and not let the world get you down! Plus her Geordie accent is so chipper. A worthwhile listen to perk you up, I find her rude jokes hilarious and she's very down-to-earth.
Only issue I had was technical - the pdf that is supposed to accompany the audio book didn't appear in my Audible library which is a shame as she refers to it in the text. Would have loved to see her pet dog in pants...

"Autobiography and self help book all in one"

Really like Sarah Millican and her honesty on herself and life in genaral, and this did not disappoint.

It was not quite what I was expecting as it encompassed her life as well as self help on daily life.

Sarah would be such a great mate to have, as she comes across as a loyal and caring friend who would always put a smile on your face.

    "Thank you Sarah"

What a wonderful accompaniment to my travels around Australia.

Made me remember some things I had totally forgot about my childhood.

I laughed and I cried throughout. Hopefully one day I will get the chance to wave a Sarah, which will be my signal (from afar of course) thanks for a terrific read 😘
