Summary

Dinesh D'Souza, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller America, is back with this darkly entertaining deconstruction of Hillary Clinton's flawed character and ideology. From her Alinskyite past to her hopes for America's progressive future, the presumptive Democratic nominee is revealed to be little more than a political gangster intent on controlling the nation's wealth. D'Souza chronicles the sleazy ascent of the Clintons and makes clear what some voters have long suspected: that Hillary is far more dangerous and corrupt than Bill ever was.

Important

This book provides a very informative account on the background of the Democratic Party and the dangers of another Clinton presidency.

Full of Anger and biased

I read this book to understand the history behind Hillary and the Democratic Party and because a close friend pointed me to it.

I received what I perceive as an extremely bias opinion of the Democratic Party that painted a very black vs white picture of democrats vs republicans. And we all know the world is not black and white.

Informative but 100% biased

So the republicans are better? and Trump is not a sexist, racist arse? Give me a break.

More fact, please... less agenda

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would rather make my own conclusions based on the facts than have an author continually claiming his opinions are the truth. Just give me facts. I'm smart enough to make my own assessment.

Would you recommend Hillary's America to your friends? Why or why not?

No. His bias is hard to wade through in order to find facts.

Would you listen to another book narrated by James Foster?

Maybe

Was Hillary's America worth the listening time?

If listening to another person's opinions is time worthy, then yes. If hoping to garner facts in order to form my own opinions... not so much.

Any additional comments?

What the author lacks in even-handedness, he makes up for in broad sweeping statements that he provides no specific evidence to justify. I am looking for information--not dogma. Sadly, the reviews of this book did not accurately represent the content. He didn't tell me anything I didn't already know through my own research...only wrapped it up in an extreme world view for which he gave scant evidence.

Entertaining to a point

After the first two chapters it the same thing over and over and over...

And, it's the same biased propaganda attempt over and over and over.

Anyone that fact checks this drivel can easily see how it's a classic case of taking historical snippets out of context and intentionally leaves out important counterpoints and then projects 100 year old misinformation onto present day party behavior.

More Dinesh

It is clear that Dinesh is very smart and has studied history in depth BUT IMO, his stories fall short because rather than focus on individuals, he apparently feels the need to paint with very broad strokes. Throughout the three books I tried to read and 1 1/3 movies I saw, he is only trying to paint a rosy po tug of the republicans. Just like any race, all parties have good and bad. He dilutes his message by only referring to one party or another.

Great research but the story suffers in his quest to show how bad the Democrats are and wonderful the Republicans are.

We live in a crazy time

Half of America is "grieving" right now, and the other half is relieved. I didn't want to vote for Hillary or Donald, but (don't hate me for this) I think we dodged a bullet. Only time will tell for sure, but at least we have a chance to Make America Great Again . . . I think our choice was 1. vote one way and we know for sure we are in trouble, 2. vote the other way and at least there is a chance. That is the way I saw it. It seems to be the way many others saw it.

If you are still "grieving", read D'Souza's book. It may give you a little comfort.

Eye opener, be informed or be enslaved.

This book is a great history lesson on the political powers of America. I enjoyed the narration and story of how we arrived at this point in our nation's story. This book shows much of what we have been taught about the political parties is a lie. It is time for the people to exercise our power to choose and take back our country that is being stolen before our very eyes. We will soon lose our country and everything we possess or produce will be taken from us and appropriated by our corrupt government if nothing is done to stop the crooks in power. Listen this book to gain insight into the direction the democratic party is taking us. You will appreciate what you learn and will make more informed decisions. Your vote is powerful, use it for the good of this country and preserve this freedom for generations to come.

Required reading for every American voter

Facts get in the way of the progressive narrative. Two generations of MSM and educational "brainwashing" need to be shown the truth about the real racists and thieves that populate the democrat party. Hillary and Bill should never, ever, get near the White House.
