Steven's family dealing with the tragic accident that took the life of their youngest daughter, and how they bounced back over time.

Which scene was your favorite?

Afraid I can't pick one.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

A must-have for fans of Steven Curtis Chapman's music.

Good content but

I wish that Steven Curtis Chapman had read the book. It seems that autobiographies better when the author reads them.

Long time fan

I enjoyed the story. My only problem was the narrator. It could have been so much better if SCC did the reading. I had to speed up the narrator to get through it.

Open and honest

Loved this book. Very open, honest and relatable. Grief can be overwhelming at times but with God's help we can carry on.

Truly a "great adventure" to read/listen to

Would you consider the audio edition of Between Heaven & the Real World to be better than the print version?

As a person with a visual impairment and ADHD audio books have rekindled my love of reading. I loved reading the book, but could also catch things I missed by listening. And the book has pictures :)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Between Heaven & the Real World?

That's a hard one, but I'd have to say the way Steven spoke of Maria's death and all that happened afterwards. The way that God placed people and things in their lives at just the right time, and the way that God used Maria's story in so many lives was so powerful.

Which scene was your favorite?

I think Steven's sharing how he wrote "Cinderella"

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"SEE"

Any additional comments?

This book brought back so many memories, Steven's music is such a part of my spiritual journey, including praying for him and his family after Maria died. The only thing missing was hearing him narrate the book himself, but Paul Michael did a great job.

Great Book

Loved this story of faith and intense love! However, I would have liked the narrator to have been Steven Curtis Chapman. It took me a while to get used to the narrator on this audio.

Loved the story . wish Steven had read it!

I have loved Steven's music since his early career days and first album. Hearing this story and the specifics of where that wonderful music came from was a delight! His ability to connect in his music carried over in this book as well. Would love to hear a version with him narrating at least part of it himself with song clips included - THAT would be really cool!

Amazing story of God’s Faithfulness!

I greatly enjoyed following along on Chapmans journey in this book. As many Christians SCC music has been around as long as I have known Jesus. His songs seem woven into my own story. His music has served to remind me to taste and see God is good even in the darkest times. My only criticism of the audible book is I wish Steven Curtis Chapman had read his audible book, as a public figure and singer I know his voice which made it hard to listen to someone else read it. But the content quickly helped me see past the new voice.
Thank you Chapman family for sharing your hearts with others so we might better know the heart of God.
