This was the first book of Claire Adams that I've listened to. I enjoyed it and plan on checking out more of her work.

I really liked Gretchen. She's a smart, sweet and loveable lady. Even though she's had her heart torn out before she still likes to believe in happy endings. That there's someone out there for everyone. She just hasn't met him yet.

Christian is a rich playboy who seems cold and abrasive. Known for his string of one night stands the media is always around trying to get their next top story. His recent spot in the lime light has his business partners angry and fed up. This is what leads to Christian's stay in Hawaii.

I didn't care much for Christian to begin with but once he meets Gretchen a different side of him is revealed. One that is sincere, caring and redeemable.
