Excellent book really enjoyable journey through history and the home with Bill Brysons usual facinating stories making history interesting, gripping, amusing and fascinating all at the same time! could sometimes be found wondering how the subject relates to the room in question but in most cases it makes sense in the end

It was interesting to hear his thoughts but I didn't expect to hear the space filler ' You Know ' so many times from a professional writer.

He should get rid of saying 'You Know'.
