Radio 4 comedy at its best

This is a sadly overlooked gem from Radio 4's recent archives. It channels the scatalogical style of Hitchhiker's Guide frequently and similarly brilliantly uses the medieum of radio to showcase the writers' ideas. It's fast, clever and extremely funny. Perfect for anyone who loves the aforementioned Hitchhiker's Guide or the more recent Listen Against.

Best radio sketch show in years

If the 3 minute free sample doesn't persuade you, its hard to know what will. This is an astonishingly good first series with such depth and frequency of jokes that you'll need to listen multiple times to fully appreciate it. Buy it - and go and see those who wrote and performed in it do stand-up, should you get the opportunity.

Disappointing

I was expecting clever and sarcastic humour, but every so often it dips into childish nonsense that makes little sense and almost as if they needed to fill out time.

Not my cup of tea

Spectacular! Hilarious! Audio Crack!

Would you listen to Bigipedia again? Why?

This was literallly one of the funniest things I programs/books/media I have ever listened too. It is very funny and very fast paced so I will have to listen to it a few times in order to squeeze every drop of comedic goo out of it.
Bigipedia is a combination of Monty Python, Hitch Hiker's guide to the Galaxy and Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert, satire all aimed at our moder media experience and presented in a very creative and unique radio format! You will be a poorer person if you DON'T listen to this book. ITS THAT GOOD!

ps. I am not being paid for this review, though I probably should be!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bigipedia?

The snakes, the wine, and the never sleeping, never blinking, omniscient servant that is bigipedia.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

Wonderful! Enthusiastic! and Diverse!
