This book is the perfect third instalment in the fantastic South Downs series.

Another true classic ice queen who struggles with internalised homophobia. It’s so refreshing that both MCs are 40+ and bring with them plenty of baggage. The push and pull between these characters is a joy to witness. The slow crumbling of emotional walls being torn down, the realisation of owning who you are, the the true joy in allowing yourself to have what is most natural to you, combines to make this a joyful and special read.

As always, Angela Dawe just made the book so much more special for me. I read the ebook first then listened to the audio when it was released and it just added to the story. Definitely recommend.
