Entertaining short stories

I liked this book. A series of twilight Zone type tales using the original format with an introduction and an ending. All the stories are strange and different, with some being more to my taste than others. I loved Such a Perfect day, delightfully poignant, A Tourists guide to the Galaxy and A most curious collection both with strong messages and The Keeper of the Lake, Mirror Darkly has a dark storyline with a really graphic scene which is a bit at odds with everything else in the book. All the stories are well written and keep the theme that nothing is quite what it seems or ever simple. Benjamin Koenig does an excellent job with the narration, sometimes just a little over the top but otherwise a fine performance. I received a complimentary copy from the narrator and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Loved It!

I really enjoyed listening to this book, Yeah, some of the stories were better than others. I was almost put off the whole thing by the first story as it didn't do anything for me but "Hey, whatever floats your boat" I liked the way that the author had a real random mix of different genres almost, from Horror to pure fantasy. My favourite story of all was probably "Will the real Alexander please stand up". I thought Benjamin Koenig's narration was excellent in my opinion. I take each narrators style as an individual, if they try to imitate someone else then fine, as long as the voice works for the book there's no criticism from me.
I was kindly given a copy of this book by the narrator and am leaving the honest review voluntarily. *****

Great set of twilight zone inspired stories

Between Light and Shadows by Sarah Jane Huntington is an entertaining set of sci-fi stories. The twists and turns in the stories bring me back to the days of black & white TV show outer limits & twilight zone. The narration by Benjamin Koenig was wonderful. He brings the characters and stories to life. I received a free copy of this audiobook for my honest review.

A Collection of Stories

Some were interesting some not so much. I always loved "The Twilight Zone" and this is reminent of them. Narrator voice has a slur to it making it difficult to understand what is being said at some parts in this book.

SHADES OF THE TWILIGHT ZONE!!!

BETWEEN LIGHT AND SHADOW BY Sarah Jane Huntington & Narration by: Benjamin Koenig is a compilation of short stories structured around the old TV series "THE TWILIGHT ZONE" Each story tells the tale that, at first, seems like a pretty typical plot but, the ending catches one off guard! I was really impressed to how the author did take a ho hum story and make it twist just enough to leave me saying, "what?" The narration by Benjamin Koenig was ok. I understand him trying to imitate Rod Serling but let's face it: there was and will be only one Rod Serling and in this humble listener opinion there never will be another!

Other than the narration, I HIGHLY recommend BETWEEN LIGHT AND SHADOW. The stories are well worth the listen.

Phenomenal Stories

If you loved the tv show "The Twilight Zone" your going to love this anthology of short stories. Every story in this book contains a creep factor of its own rather scary in nature or the moral freaks you out. Every story in this book either tells a truth you don't want to admit to out loud or baffled the mind in some way. I highly recommend this book if love stories with hidden morals with a bit of horror.
I received this book for free upon my request but it has no bearing on my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition.
