This was a fantastic listen. Eagerly waiting for the next book. Brilliantly narrated, really brings the characters to life.

No one does evil like Wes Markin, and this book is no exception. VERY graphic but all in context if you know what I mean. It is best to read the DCI Michael Yorke series of books in order as the characters follow on through all the books and to understand all the twists and turns fully you will need the background. I really enjoy listening to any book narrated by Aubrey Parsons so this series is a win win for me. If you like this genre of books don't miss this series.

Love these books, but this one was not as good as the others, still enjoyable, but a little predictable maybe...

I've listened to all the series so far and the Jake Pettman books and so obviously enjoy them. Some great characters that develop as you go on. However, they are becoming increasingly gratuitous so that there almost beyond thriller and moving into horror territory which is not my thing. Also, in a few of the books, such as this one, there are so many characters and plot lines that it starts to get a bit confusing to the point that by the end I wondered if I really knew what had happened at all. Good but definite potential to be a lot better.
