About this listen

Set yourself up for success in every season of life, for the rest of your life.

Discover five game-changing questions to ask every time you make a major decision regarding your finances, relationships, career, and more.

Good questions lead to better decisions. And your decisions determine the direction and quality of your life—they create the story of your life. And while nobody plans to complicate their life with bad decisions, far too many people have no plan to make good decisions.

In Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets, Andy Stanley—pastor and bestselling author of Irresistible and Not In It To Win It—will help you learn from experience and stop making bad decisions by integrating five questions into every decision you make, big or small.

This audiobook will help you live differently by showing you how to:

  • Develop a decision-making filter that reveals which choices will likely lead to positive results.
  • Avoid selling yourself on bad ideas and making quick decisions when time is short.
  • Find truth and clarity in any tricky decision.
  • Improve relationships and heal division through better decisions.
  • Discover the reasons behind your decisions so you can move forward with positive changes.
  • Consider the long-term impact of your choices so you can write a life story worth celebrating.
  • Easily identify any red flags that signal which decisions may result in future regrets.

I’ve re-listened to this book several times, and can warmly recommend it with confidence. In fact it’s become my default framework for decision making. It’s a framework that I turn to on a regular basis- which has saved me a lot of time, money and energy - I dare even say heartache. Wether you’re more impulsive, logical or emotional in the way you make decisions - this book will provide you with useful insights and questions that actually help. Trust me when I say, if you apply what you hear in this book, you will make better decisions and have fewer regrets.

I struggled to follow all you did was talking about God and Jesus one point I thought I was reading a religious book.
a title of a book doesn't reflect the story.
I did not benefit anything from this book.

complete waste of time

A good reminder of things you probably already know. Andy tells us to ask ourselves 5 questions when making decisions. SPOILER 1. The integrity Q-Am I being honest with myself really? 2. The legacy Q-What story do I want to tell? 3. The conscience Q-Is there a tension that deserves my attention? 4. The maturity Q-What is the wise thing to do? 5. The relationship Q- What does love require of me? Andy narrates it himself so it’s like listening to one big sermon.

Good questions to ask yourself

There are some good tips in there, but it becomes progressively more about God and how we need to let God guide us. Not very useful advice if you're not religious. Agnostics and atheists should go for a different book

Please be aware, it's a religious book written by a pastor.
