Summary

Mörderisches Rügen. Ein Touristenpaar entdeckt in einem Erlensumpf am Schmachter See die Leiche der in Stralsund lebenden Physiotherapeutin Mona Gluek. Da die Frau gefesselt war und ihr Gesicht im Sumpf lag, sodass sie erstickte, wird umgehend die Stralsunder Polizei eingeschaltet. Es stellt sich heraus, dass das Opfer am Abend zuvor als vermisst gemeldet wurde, nachdem sie ihren vierjährigen Sohn nicht bei ihrer Babysitterin abgeholt hatte. Jan Riechter, Leiter der Polizeiinspektion, und Romy Beccare müssen ihren Urlaub abbrechen, als erste Nachfragen ergeben, dass Monas Lebensgefährtin Sabine Lorant seit gut einem Monat spurlos verschwunden ist.
